A unique Mediterranean escape Sunny Side Festival 2025 is fast approaching and today completes its Stages and Boat Parties with a cultured line up and many cutting-edge talents from across the house and techno spectrum. This intimate and cultured blend of electronic music unfolds on the beautiful island of Malta from 16-18th May 2025 with already announced names including Sweely, CARISTA, Dungeon Meat, Christian AB, Hamish & Toby, Ryan Elliot, Magda, Margaret Dygas, BASHKKA, Mathew Jonson, Sonja Moonear and many more.

Sunny Side is hosted at the iconic Uno Malta which has two rooms equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems and spectacular production. Electronic music fans from all over Europe gather for their fix of avant-garde sounds and heady atmospheres across a range of bespoke and unforgettable locations. 

Things kick off on Friday with stage hosts Half Baked and Det Gode Selskab with guests like Luca Cordina, Mari.te, Mike Shannon Live, Sam Bangura b2b Harry McCanna, Sonja Moonear, and Tod Louie b2b Thomas Refvik. Meanwhile, Sunny Side presents a second stage with Bae2Bae, BASHKKA, Carlos Valdes, Human Safari and Ryan Elliott. 

On Saturday, YOYAKU will host 2 rooms with Ben & Macelli, Felipe Valenzuela (Live), Hostom (Varhart) (Live), Jonny Rock b2b Magda, Lamache b2b Bruno Schmidt, Margaret Dygas, MATO, Monile b2b Desirée Falessi, Sweely and Yamour, and there is also a special Sunset Seaside Party with JNJS, Mathew Jonson (Live), Owen Jay, PARAMIDA b2b Enrica Falqui. 

Sunday kicks off with the iconic back to back boat parties that set sail around the Maltese islands with Trommel hosting Hamish & Toby and Nesta at midday, and Rhythm Point welcoming Doudou MD and Hugo Martinez at 15:30 the same day. 

Later during the day at UNO Malta, Dungeon Meet and Sunny Side Up will be hosting CARISTA, Dungeon Meat, Georgia, Puis and UJ/DV, whilst AirFunk and Outcast (Torino) will host Aline Umber b2b Maxime dB, Alexia Glensy b2b Alex Dima, Christian AB and Louie G. 

Malta becomes an adult wonderland for just 1500 lucky people during the Sunny Side Festival. Gottwood are proud to announce a new set of artists who will join the likes of Mr. G, Joy Orbison, Move D, DJ Deep, Craig Richards, Ben UFO, Roman Flügel, Sonja Moonear, Andrew Weatherall, Zip and many more in their magical Welsh forest this June.
 
Joining the Gottwood Family will be the Barcelona based Hivern Discs Label owner John Talabot,known for his slow moving and ebullient house. Alongside John Talabot, Gottwood welcomes the return of Rush Hour records Hunee, a Gottwood favourite following an epic set in the Gottwood Forest during the 2015 event.  
 
Gottwood are also excited to announce rising star John Dimas, who will bring his stripped back avante-garde house and techno sound to a Gottwood stage, whilst hotly tipped Manchester grime collective LEVELZ take over an intimate corner of the welsh woodland. 
 
Ensuring all musical bases are covered jazz, funk and fusion band The Expansions, who are best known as Andrew Ashongs session bandwill play Live on the Lawn Stage as will the enthused raw groove, funk and hip-hop sounds of The Max Graef Band and the afro edit sounds of Sheffield's Al Zander aka Lodger. 
 
Futureboogie's Maxxi Soundsystem, twin duo The Menendez Brothers and One Records head honcho Subb-An will be bringing more up front party attitude to the forest, along with the well respected Leicester based club night and label collective City Fly. Manchester based crowd-loving crate-digger Neil Diablo will also be onboard, playing solo and also alongside Crazy P original member Jim Baron as their Ron & Neil collaboration. 

 

Alongside new media partners,  Stamp The Wax, and friends of the festival Ruf Dug, Gottwood are set to create a new space at the festival aptly named Ruffys Lab. Artistically curated by Ruf Dug himself, expect daytime interviews, product showcases, 80's video games and evening house parties with take overs from Ruf Kutz, Stamp The Wax and Dream Catalogue.
