Moovin Festival is an independent, counter-culture gathering set in a unique setting on what was once an old dairy farm. The festival’s main stage is a converted barn, complete with straw bales for lounging while sipping a reasonably priced £5 pint. Located just 30 minutes from Manchester and Sheffield, yet feeling like a world away, the festival offers a tranquil escape from urban chaos. Situated at the eco-friendly Whitebottom Farm, festival-goers traverse through a magical canopy of trees, past lakes teeming with beautiful birds, and are welcomed by a breathtaking gorge at the entrance.

Attendees can expect a lot of quirkiness and a host of amazing DJS and bands playing across cutting-edge sound systems alongside holistic healing treatments, yoga sessions, and captivating circus performances, all infused with a warm and welcoming vibe. There are no VIP areas, no overbearing security teams—just a hint of 90s free party magic and a close-knit community of music lovers who welcome everyone with open arms. While the lineups are impressive, the capacity is intentionally limited, a belief upheld by the promoters to maintain an intimate and inclusive atmosphere. This results in a compact and personal festival that retains its raw independence while being built with genuine love and care.

And at just £135 for a weekend ticket, you’d be hard-pressed to find better value for money at any festival this summer! With three full days of music, art, and self-expression on offer, Moovin Festival offers a combination of quality and affordability.

With walkabout performers, fire shows, morning gong baths, and yoga classes—just to scratch the surface—there is so much more to explore at Moovin Festival. All wrapped in a unique free-spirited vibe that defies easy description, Moovin Festival truly is like no Udder!
