The much loved and recently elevated MOGA Caparica is celebrating its 5th anniversary in Portugal with five days of magical OFF and IN events from 28 May to 1 June 2025. Following the success of last year’s new format, this milestone edition is expected to welcome 28,000 attendee’s over the five days. and will be a fully-fledged beach festival on the Atlantic coast with a single expansive site and three stages. MOGA Caparica has become one of Europe’s most essential and cultured festivals in a very short space of time. Dancing on its breathtaking beach with the sun setting over the ocean, sand between your toes amongst an amazing crowd of real music heads is one of the most essential experiences you can have in Summer.

MOGA Caparica is a warm and welcoming gathering inspired by Atlantic vibes and aimed at connecting people from all over the world. The beautiful location offers plenty to explore as well as artistic discovery – there is delicious food, local and international music talent, enriching activities for the soul and beach parties, boat parties and more.

There is also a superb MOGA OFF program across Costa da Caparica with two days of free events and parties before MOGA IN offers three days of festival fun featuring two outdoor and one indoor stage, afterparties each night and a Souk creator market.

This year the lineup again brings together new school innovators, much loved legends and plenty of local talent across the electronic spectrum. Highlights include the heady minimal of Arapu, Luciano, Lamache and Barem, the energetic house of Blond:Ish, Dan Ghenacia’s signature deep grooves, the eclectic mastery of the legend that is DJ Harvey, melodic richness from Life And Death boss DJ Tennis, live sets from Hostom and Kosh, edgy tech from Jamie Jones and Richy Ahmed, Balearic joy from LA’s Lovefingers, classical disco and house from Maurice Fulton, dubbed out rollers from Traumer and more.

An all new and elevated MOGA Caparica experience awaits on the beautiful coast of Portugal from May 29th to June 2nd, 2024 and now the second wave of names has been revealed as well as headliners for the OFF events.

Now playing are the likes of Acid Arab (DJ set), Adassiya (live), Agoria, Francis Mercier, Mâhoud (live), Lee Burridge, Romain FX (live), Rui Vargas, To Ricciardi, Zengxrl and many more. These latest names come on top of first wave names such as Acid Pauli, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Dixon, Jan Blomqvist (Live), Luca Saporito (Audiofly), Mr. ID, Pachanga Boys, Satori, Xinobi, Desiree and more and tickets are available now at mogafestival.com.

MOGA Caparica has made a huge impression in a short space of time. This year MOGA transitions from a series of beach parties to a full-fledged beach festival with a single expansive site and three stages but it remains a compact and boutique gathering for real music lovers inspired by Atlantic vibes and aimed at connecting people from all over the world.

In 2024, it offers another magical mix of artistic discovery, delicious food, local and international music talent, enriching activities for the soul and beach parties, boat parties. The latest names cover house, techno, melodic electronic music, funk, soul and plenty in between with a mix of live acts and DJ sets from legends, pioneers and new school talents.

There is also a superb OFF program across one boat, three beach venues, six parties, and countless hours of non-stop dancing. That OFF program can now be revealed and will take place across Lorosae, Azul Dr Bernard and Buya Beach in Costa da Caparica on the first two days of the festival.

The stunning beach bar Lorosae will be hosting a party on both Wednesday and Thursday. For this occasion the organisers partner up with Amor Records, a local record store and talent incubators. The event offers attendees an immersive experience in the electronic music Lisbon scene, showcasing local names. Later on the same days (29 and 30), the celebration carries on at Azul Dr. Bernard, just a few minutes away from the afternoon event. The setting will host electronic scene headliners along with their talented DJ friends. On Wednesday, MOGA gladly welcome Polocorp, and on Thursday, DJ Vibe, Portuguese talent known locally and globally, both spinning beats for a party lasting long into the night. MOGA will once again host its traditional boat cruise on the Tejo river, setting sail to the tunes of DJs from the Faina Music Portuguese label.

In addition to the live electronic music and parties, the festival also aims to pay homage to the land that welcomes us. The programme will be announced in the coming weeks but in previous editions, MOGA invited a local batucada, offered free yoga and surfing lessons, hosted discussions on music and technology, and organized exhibitions, all against the scenic backdrop of Caparica.

MOGA Caparica made a huge impression in a short space of time. It is a compact and boutique gathering for real music lovers inspired by Atlantic vibes and aimed at connecting people from all over the world. This year it offers another magical mix of artistic discovery, delicious food, local and international music talent, enriching activities for the soul and beach parties, boat parties, an OFF program and more across five days that make for a truly unique experience.
Ahead of the main event, MOGA hosts a rich OFF program with activities in and around Caparica including a free opening party at Palms on Wednesday 31th, an essential ticketed boat party on Thursday 1st on the beautiful Tagus river followed by a party on the stunning Lorosae beach club and an array of wellness, yoga classes, meditation, art installations, mouthwatering food and much more.
The main festival happens across two venues – Praia Irmao, an organic beach spot which oozes bohemian chic and Posto da Onda, an inspiring meeting point where nomads meet by the ocean to unwind in a refined yet laid back and sustainable setting facing the ocean. There will be four parties across the 3 days (Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th) running for 12 hours from 2pm, meaning there is always a wealth of musical options for you to plot your own adventure.
That music comes from another superb mix of names such as Rhythm Section boss and tastemaker Bradley Zero, the deeply emotive electronic sounds of Chaim b2b Jenia Parsol, dusty house, soul and more from deep digger Danilo Plessow (MCDE), an eclectic party mix from Running Back boss Gerd Janson, cosmic curveballs and deep chuggers from Heidi Lawden & Lovefingers, spiritual selections of soul, house, acid, disco and much more from the huge hearted Hunee,  classy house from Jimi Jules and New Jersey pioneer Kerri Chandler, plus more brilliant eclecticism from Sadar Bahar, Slim Peace & Blossom, Berberan, Dymos & Shizzo, Micaia, Oceanvs Orientalis, Retro Cassetta, Sara Sual and Ze Pedro Moura.
The final countdown is now on to one of Europe’s most tasteful cultural gatherings.

The much anticipated second edition of MOGA Caparica returns to Portugal’s stunning Costa de Caparica from the 1st to 5th of June. Located just 20 minutes south of Lisbon and offering a sun kissed and escapist mix of sunset beach parties with yoga, surfing, brunches and boat parties, first wave headliners include From A to Z: AMINE K – AUDIOFLY – CARLITA – DAM SWINDLE – DAN SHAKE – DAOX – FOLAMOUR – KALABRESE – LAURENCE GUY – LOLA VILLA – MADD ROD – MAFALDA – MAGUPI – PARALLELLS – SHUGI – YOKOO& many more tba. MOGA was born in Essaouira (Morocco), which was named Mogador by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago. It is a boutique electronic music festival inspired by Atlantic vibes and providing an experience that connects people from all around the world through dance, music, art and wellness. Moga is also a tribe, a strong community of nomads sharing the same values and lifestyle spreading from Essaouira to Caparica and beyond.

This is the second edition of MOGA Caparica after a stunning debut last year. It took place in October as a replacement for Essaouira edition, which returns this year in October with MOGA Caparica moving to June to take full advantage of the summer weather.

This year will feature an extra beach party with two in all on Saturday. A festival pass includes access to the beach parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and as well as the spectacular dancing, you can enjoy free access to the OFF events happening throughout the five days such as music, art, wellness, talks, food and more.

The first wave of names includes Amine K – Morocco’s ambassador for electronic music who always brings happiness through his music, Ibiza favourites Audiofly, Istanbul’s fast rising Carlita, Dutch pair Dam Swindle bring their cross-sectional grooves, Dan Shake brings his warm and heartfelt house sounds and Folamour is part of the recent renaissance of young French house and disco producers with a deep love for all music. Then amongst others come much loved melodic house maestros Parallells. The pair are regulars on Agoria’s Sapiens label. Then comes Portuguese NTS favourite and Melodies International label co-founder Mafalda who plays a famously broad selection of love-fuelled house, soul, disco, Latin, funk and more plus the likes of Laurence Guy, Lola Villa, Madd Rod, Magupi, Shugi and YokoO.

The countdown has now begun to this superb cultural getaway on the gorgeous beaches of Portugal.
