End of the Road announce entire workshop and activities line up!

One of the most charmingly beautiful and eclectic festivals of the summer, End of the Road, is officially in eight weeks time, and with that in mind, the final lineup of workshops and activities has been announced.

For the creatives among you, there’s everything from Clay Creations, Origami, Screen Printing, Enamelling and even Comic Book Creating, whereas those who have an extroverted streak can enjoy a wide array of performing arts workshops, where you can be a part of a choir with Singing Loudly for All to Hear, or being part of a spontaneous theatre piece in conjunction with The One Line Theatre Company.

If that’s not your scene and you’d rather relax, wind down, and give your chakras some good loving in between acts, there's also a load of yoga, mindfulness and meditation workshops that you can enjoy.

But the workshops are only a small segment of what End of the Road is all about, with headliners such as The Shins, Joanna Newsom and Animal Collective, as well as incredible artists such as Bat for Lashes, Savages, Ezra Furman, Devendra Banhart, Omar Souleyman and many more, you can’t miss this enchanting folk gathering at the end of the summer.

An entire list of workshops and full line-up can be found on the official End of the Road website.

Truck Fesitval Line Up Announcement

Line Up Announcement No.3 is GO GO GO…

Clean Bandit, Temples and Public Service Broadcasting lead the third series of bands announced for TRUCK 2015

Without further ado, we have the pleasure to introduce you to….

Our two sub headliners; Grammy award winning and chart conquering Clean Bandit and Temples alongside other huge names and the best brand new bands.

Clean Bandit’s rapid rise to fame has seen the quartet bag a Grammy for their hit ‘Rather Be’, now this summer we'll see them perform this and other smash hits for our wonderful audience.

Formed whilst studying at the University of Cambridge the band hail from enemy territory, no doubt a serving of polished electro-pop will build bridges during their set.

Temples, signed to the much-respected Heavenly Recordings, bring a slice of psychedelia to proceedings. The band has previously supported The Rolling Stones, while Brett Anderson personally invited them to tour with Suede. Temples’ set at Truck therefore comes with some very weighty recommendations.

Also joining the bill are the heady mix of rock, samples, spoken word and synths make up the mind-bending experience that is Public Service Broadcasting. The duo consisting of the enigmatically named J. Willgoose, Esq. and Wrigglesworth will provide a not-to-miss moment at Truck.

Latitude Festival 2014 Launch Event Review

The Black Keys have been announced as the third act to grace the Obelisk Stage at Latitude Festival this year. It will be the first time the blues / rock duo have headlined a UK festival. After the success of their last album 'El Camino' they will be more than ready to set the final night of the festival alight. They will join Damon Albarn and Two Door Cinema Club as the headlining acts for the ninth year of the festival.

The announcement was revealed at Sadler's Wells in London by festival organiser, Melvin Benn. Sadler's Wells not only provided the venue for the launch, it also adds to the festival by showcasing their very own English National Ballet, James Cousins Company and National Youth Dance Company.

The venue was full with guys and gals excited to hear who would be the next acts to be announced. As drink got flowing, it was clear to see that these people could not wait to be opening their first beer at the festival. The conversation was clearly about who they were most excited to see at Latitude.

Other acts which have been added to the stellar line-up include Editors, James, Crystal Fighters, Kelis, The Afghan Whigs and Tinariwen, Mogwai, Lykke Li, War On Drugs, Temples, Parquet Courts, George Ezra, Conor Oberst, Tom Vek and Dawes.

For those looking for something a little different, a well-rounded cultural experience, the reason that people swarm to Latitude, there will be performers such as Laura Bates (Literature), Sabrina Mahfouz (Poetry) and Margeret Thatcher Queen of Soho (Cabaret) gracing the Arts Stages. The theme for the Art Stages was revealed as 'Secrets and Lies'.

Finally if you're just looking for a giggle and a laugh the Comedy stage will delight you with the likes of Dara O'Briain, Milton Jones, Cardinal Burns, Josh Widdicombe and Seann Walsh.

Having been awarded 'Best Line-up' 2013 at the UK Festival Awards, Latitude has continued to pull together yet another outstanding line-up. We cannot wait to get down to Henham Park, Suffolk in July!
