Lovebox announce second wave of artists for 2016

Now, Lovebox unveils even more incredible names and forward-thinking stage partners, cementing its status as London’s most diverse and expansive music festival.

South London MC Giggs joins the bill, performing on the Noisey stage on Friday. Giggs has been an integral part of the grime scene for the past decade, and remains just as relevant today, lending scene-stealing verses to the likes of JME, Chase and Status, Dizzee Rascal and Waka Flocka Flame in recent times.

Also appearing on the Noisey stage will be British music legend Shy FX alongside Stamina MC. Shy FX’s sets are infamously incendiary, and his appearance at Lovebox is set to be no different.

Thump will be programming some of the finest names in electronic music on the Saturday. The likes of acclaimed producer/DJ George FitzGerald, Canadian duo Bob Moses and composer/musician Rival Consoles will be appearing alongside Kiasmos, Reza Athar, Gemini Brothers and Cici, plus a very special guest TBA.

Some of the freshest, most exciting new acts out there will also be appearing in the Park. Genre-hopping singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu will take to the Main Stage on the Friday. Elsewhere, hotly-tipped vocalist Jorja Smith joins Soundcrash on the Saturday.

Lovebox friend and favourite Heidi returns to the Park to headline Kopparberg Urban Forest hosted by promoters Krankbrother on the Friday, preceded by a selection of incendiary DJs including the internationally renowned Tom Trago, Dutch house legend William Kouam Djoko and Amsterdam nightlife staple Cinnaman, as well as Krankbrother and Jack C.

On the Saturday, the Urban Forest will be taken over by a diverse selection of up-and-coming talent, including rapper/singer/songwriter Tiggs Da Author, psyche-pop four piece Beaty Heart, soul singer Jodie Abacus, mysterious electro-soul newcomer Seramic and experimental artist Kojey Radical. There’ll also be appearances from Cosmic Strip and Supa Dupa Fly featuring Emily Rawson and Matchstick.

Lovebox are delighted to welcome back Dalston basement club Visions on board to host their own stage. Visions has garnered a reputation for being one of London’s most exciting night spots. Their parties are legendary and special guests are guaranteed…a few may just appear at their stage on the Friday alongside Visions residents Darq E Freaker, Star.One, Snips and many more.

Radio station NTS – broadcasting from Dalston, across the globe – will be hosting the cream of hip hop and electronic talent. There will be appearances from Soulection producer Sango, rising US rapper Denzel Curry, London beatmaker Lil Silva, plus Hannah Faith, CKtrl, Motive and Tim & Barry.

Corona Sunsets will be bringing the sound of the Balearics to Victoria Park with their stunning mandala structure. The Friday sees sets from Warp act Nightmares On Wax’s Soundsystem, remix master The Reflex, innovative R&B/soul singer-producer Andrew Ashong as well as Thris Tian, Desert Sound Colony, Kasra V and Wild Fantasy.

Meanwhile, the Saturday will feature the inimitable Norman Jay MBE, disco group Crazy P Soundsystem, the boogie boat that is PBR Streetgang and disco duo Unabombers plus Pete Herbert, Ray Mang & Bill Brewster, Mo Kolours, Bobby Pleasure and Tayo & Tope.

There’s so much to explore in the Park – from fabric bringing their world class soundsystem to a field for the very first time, to Elrow’s Brazilian confetti-coated party to the carnival spirit of The Tropiskarnival Bandstand and What Hannah Wants’ specially curated arena; plus i-D presents VIP: Ocean Drive, inspired by the hedonistic lifestyle and intriguing charm of Miami Beach – there’s plenty of pockets of live music and world class DJ sets to discover in incredible settings

Elsewhere, there’s plenty more to experience onsite. London’s best restaurateurs will be serving up delicious street food, revellers can browse fashion and beauty boutiques from the city’s finest creatives, or spin around at the Bump Roller Disco, and discover spoken word at The Voicebox presented by Apples and Snakes and Roundhouse…plus much, much more.

2016 looks set to be a definitive and unmissable year for Lovebox Festival – a two day celebration of music, food, fashion and creativity that looks certain to be the musical moment of the summer.

Mint Festival add Sven Vath and more

MINT Festival announce Sven Vath as their headliner for Saturday's

'Mint Present's' arena along with Maya Jane Coles, The Martinez Brothers, George FitzGerald, PBR Streetgang and Bobby O'Donnell.

Jamie Jones will now be joined in the Paradise arena by an array of DJ talent including Jamie Principle (Live), Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace, Richy Ahmed, wAFF and Robert James.

Other additions include, the impeccable Tiga, Hip Hop hero DJ Yoda, who will be playing a Golden Era Hip Hop set, and Late Nite Tuff Guy, who plays on the Saturday for No Way Back, Milkman Delivers& Mint Club's weekly new night, Never Too Much.

Mint Festival also go that extra mile to add another 3 Arenas on both the Saturday and Sunday for 2015, bringing it to 9 separate areas of music per day, a total of 18 over the weekend. If you thought it couldn't get any better, it just has done.

They also introduce an all new VIP Arena with a Viewing Terrace over Wetherby Racecourse amongst many other benefits, adding to a special appearance from USA legend Todd Terry on Saturday and Sunday. He will be joined by Special Guests throughout each day, as The iconic Hard Times are Hosting.

A RAM stage simply wouldn’t be complete without our next act. Lauded for their complex and unique take on the drum & bass sound, Calyx & Teebee have played an intrinsic role at RAM since exclusively signing to the label back in 2013. Having also impressed at Brixton Academy and fabric, their position at the forefront of the UK scene has never been more apparent. As an act we’ve always had our ears on, bringing them to SW4 is very much mission complete. With their new album catching all the headlines, their inaugural SW4 performance on the RAM stage is one we can’t wait for.

A true master of his craft and pioneer of his sound, we are delighted to announce that Deetron will join us for the debut his brand new live show in a UK festival exclusive. Having marked his territory within underground circles over recent years, his new direction of mixing sultry vocals with dainty chords and tough compositions has led to a global army of fresh support. All of which are expected to be out in force for as the Swiss-born producer prepares for a career defining performance at South West Four.

Next is an act that we have been monitoring for some time and with 2015 shaping up to be his biggest yet; we’re pleased to confirm that George FitzGerald will make his SW4 debut on Sunday 30^th August. Joining Maya Jane Coles in her arena, George joins us following the release of stellar debut album ‘Fading Love’ and at the height of his career. His deep musical knowledge and strong links to Domino, Double Six and Hotflush Records make him of the of the UK’s hottest talents and one we’re extremely excited to showcase this summer. Don’t miss it.

Also making their SW4 debut in 2015 are UK house and techno producers Dense & Pika. Made up of Chris Spero aka Glimpse and Hypercolour co-founder Alex Jones, the Hotflush signed duo have established themselves as one of the most exciting underground acts around today. With three stellar EP’s under their belt, recent performances include Panorama Bar and fabric, whilst upcoming dates confirmed at Awakenings and Hideout plus DC10’s Paradise, illustrates their pedigree. With an arsenal of innovative dancefloor focussed techno ready to be unleashed at South West Four, they also added to Maya’s stage in one of the weekend’s most forward-thinking line-ups.

Completing the Maya Jane Coles & Friends arena line-up is one of the undergrounds most promising talents as we introduce Joseph Icaro aka Wax Wings. A firm favourite within the MJC camp, the past twelve months have seen the young producer mark his territory with a series of standout dates including The Warehouse Project and Gottwood festival as well as supporting Maya across Europe. A brilliant producer and remixer including two outstanding remixes for The Presets and Zebra Katz, this breakthrough star is certainly one to watch out for this summer.

Found Festival 2015 FULL Lineup announced

Taking place at a beautiful new, South London location on Saturday 13^thJune, Found Festival 2015 will expand across five stages at Brixton’s Brockwell Park. 2015 is set to showcase leading figures in house and techno from across the UK, Europe and USA including Guy Gerber, Ellen Allien, Anja Schneider, Motor City Drum Ensemble, George Fitzgerald, Alan Fitzpatrick, Genius Of Time, Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Ron Trent, Tevo Howard, Nick Curly, Dark Sky, Mosca, Marquis Hawkes.

Taking headline duties on the open-air main stage, Guy Gerber steps up for his Found debut. His unmistakable brand of deeply emotive, fluid techno, stunningly captured in his critically acclaimed Fabriclive 64 mix – released in 2012 – has seen him become one of clubland’s most sought-after producers and the perfect choice to bring a euphoric climax to Found Festival’s third edition. Representing two of Berlin’s leading imprints, BPitch Control head honcho Ellen Allien returns after her stand-out set for Found’s inaugural Halloween double-header last autumn as well as Found favourite and Mobilee label boss Anja Schneider.

Simultaneously retro and futuristic German house pioneer Danilo Plessow akaMotor City Drum Ensemble will also make his Found debut, whilst San Soda returns after his dancefloor pounding set at Found’s Love Fever arena last year, with production partner Red D to bring their acclaimed FCL project to the Main stage. Ruthless analog bandits Genius Of Time are also set to appear, with Tresor stalwarts Zenker Brothers and founder of Moscow Records and Moss. Co, Archie Hamilton welcoming the gathering crowds at Brockwell Park.

Having curated day one of their Halloween event last October, Found welcomesGeorge FitzGerald to Brockwell Park with an army of truly cutting edge house and techno purveyors set to serious future stars. Festival-goers can expect Alan Fitzpatrick's trademark tough grooves, the live sounds of Bob Moses' vocal deep house, the precise and calculated sound of Kompakt’s Barnt, a set from famed festival powerhouse promoters, Dekmantel Soundsystem and Lobster Theremin head honcho Asquith. More special guests are still to be announced.

Nick Curly’s Trust launched in early 2014 and has quickly gathered a reputation for exceptional music and wild parties. Bringing the project to Found, Curly has enlisted Conform record signing, Davide Squillace, Circo Loco resident, Matthias Tanzmann, Point G and his paired down house tools and a back-to-back set fromRandall M and Bella Sarris.

A collective close to Found's heart, London based party connoisseurs, Feelings will curate an arena dedicated to house, soul, funk and disco. Heading proceedings,Ron Trent, is considered to be an architect of Chicago’s vibrant music scene as founder of legendary nightclub Vinyl in downtown Manhattan and lead resident for Giant Step at NYC’s infamous Shine. He is joined by an ensemble of vibe wielding heavywieghts including Detroit producer and DJ, Andrés, Chicago house maverick and founder of the Beautiful Granville Studios, Tevo Howard and The Black Madonna – known for her uplifting sets balancing timeless anthems with idiosyncratic selections. Adding to this formidable programme is Melbourne based DJ/Producer, Francis Inferno Orchestra's and his productions which join the dots between soul, disco and the sample based music that inspired him as a teenager as well as Love Fever’s, Kasra V and the Feelings residents.

With a tagline like, 'Dont Assume', you can only expect the unexpected from VIP hosts, NTS. Founded in 2011, the independent online radio project has shot to fame, now broadcast worldwide with over 160 regular shows and won Mixcloud’s award 2014 'Best Online Radio Station in the World’. They have assembled a lineup that doesn't disappoint with a hefty offering of edgy underground sounds from Dark Sky,Mosca, Marquis Hawkes, Bell Towers, Bradley Zero, Drakeford, Cheerystones,Debonair and Mr Wonderful set to entertain the crowds at Found Festival’s beautiful VIP arena, also offering garden seating area, luxury toilets, exclusive cocktail bar and an offering of gourmet street food from the acclaimed Burger and Lobster, who will be serving their famous Nova Scotian Lobster Rolls all day in the VIP area.
