It’s been a long, hot action-packed summer down at Studio 338 and there is time for one more blow out with the iconic Sankeys Summer Closing Rave featuring Del30, Josh Butler and many more on September 24th. Summer saw London’s standout super club welcome DJs, labels and brands such as Abode, a Reggaeton Festival, a huge Toolroom gathering, LoveJuice, Hospitality Weekend in the Woods, Garage Solstice, a Drag Fest, Space party and plenty more. The sprawling venue shone in all its glory with the famous outside space offering an oasis of open air dancing, and the iconic terrace being the spot for many unforgettable musical memories. Inside, the venue’s cutting edge light and sound provided endless thrills and sensory stimulating experiences like few others in the capital. Now, it is gearing up for more carefully curated parties with the best in the scene.

It all kicks off with the annual and legendary Sankeys Summer Closing Rave on September 24th. This will be the last outdoor rave of the year in the iconic garden at Studio 338 and the final day and night event of 2022. This special 16 hour session is your final chance to party in the open air until next summer and for that reason alone it is not to be missed because that always brings an always special atmosphere. House and tech heroes such as Del30, Josh Butler, Mant, Ellie Cocks, Andrew Kay and Hypoxia all play and make for a vibe that is famously underground, hedonistic and always unique.

On October 29th, it’s time to get freaky with a spooktacular Halloween special as in-house party Release presents: The Ritual. Expect themed decor, plenty of surprises and spine-chilling delights with music from Ibiza legend Ilario Alicante who plays for four hours, while Dense & Pika bring the techno, Seb Zito lays down his dubbed out and garage tinged tech house and Bryz and Hypoxia complete the party.

After that, Saturday November 5th sees Sankeys return under the banner ‘Fire in the Sky’ and on November 12th, Space offers up their spectacular Winter Wonderland with line-ups for both of these mega parties to be revealed soon. November 19th is a Toolroom Winter Special as one of the world’s foremost house labels rolls into town with boss man Mark Knight joined by Leftwing : Kody, Friend Within, CASSIMM, CRUSY and ESSEL. 

As nights draw in and temps go low, there is nowhere better to hideout this winter than on the always welcoming dance floor of Studio 338. Make sure you’re there.

Terminal V Halloween is without doubt the number one date in the calendar for proper house, techno and acid lovers. The festival is renowned for its mind-blowing production and all-round immersive experience, which is why thousands of party-goers attend from all over the continent, all keen to soak up one of techno’s most mesmeric and electrifying parties.

The unique but now familiar setup for Terminal V is its bi-yearly party status; the second event of 2022 is the epic Halloween edition, a strictly indoor affair that makes the raw and extensive spaces of the Royal Highland Centre its own.

The headliners for Terminal V: Halloween once again mix up influential pioneers, returning favourites and red hot new stars across no fewer than five special stages. First up is Area V which will bounce to futuristic minimalism from Richie Hawtin, rave-fuelled acid techno from Reinier Zonneveld who plays live and the always jacking Berlin outfit FJAAK who also play live. Add in more techno excellence from SHDW & Obscure Shape, Palestine’s trailblazing Sama AbdulHadi, the Pan-Pot duo and Elli Acula and you have an unmissable line-up.

Over in The Hangar will be Grammy nominated house duo Camelphat, the cult DJ Boring, Watergate’s La Fleur, Italian techno pair Mind Against, UK party favourite Skream and a Special Guest TBA.

The Lab welcomes legendary German electroclash pioneer DJ Hell next to the new school likes of Imogen and KI/KI, local techno hero Stephen Brown and a Special Guest TBA.

The Terminal is an always iconic place to be and this time out welcomes Berlin royalty Ellen Allien, uncompromising techno from Lee Ann Roberts and more from Anetha, blk., Charlie Sparks, Franck, Klangkuenstler, Partiboi69 and T78. 56 incredible artists across 28 days are set to light up Qatar with MDLBEAST’s first-ever event outside the Kingdom

MDLBEAST, the Saudi music entertainment company committed to growing talent and the regional music scene, has announced the launch of ARAVIA, a series of concerts throughout the world cup season. Aravia marks a milestone in Middle East entertainment which will bring 56 regional and international artists to Doha across 28 nights to entertain football fans.

The nightly raves will bring together football fans from all over the world to enjoy the best music and AAA artists in the Qatar capital.The performances will kick off at the end of each match from November 21 to December 18, at the purpose-built Al Rihla stage.

The ARAVIA event in Qatar is further evidence of MDLBEAST’s ongoing commitment to growing talent, development of the regional scene, and alignment with the world’s biggest sporting events to advance the creative economy for Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

After a long two years away due to the pandemic, East London’s best kept secret The Bridge is set to throw open its doors once more on Saturday 17th September. The first party of the new era sees Bubbledee meet Berlin’s Club Der Visionaere Berlin with sets from Bruno Schmidt, Andrea Giudice and Larry Cadge while the likes of Made in Romanyeah, Crowded as well as some clandestine afterparties for Studio 338 ́s techno brand Release all follow.

The Bridge is run by the same experienced team behind London’s super club Studio 338. It is an intimate, small capacity club for music-centric parties from underground brands, DJs and labels with an up close and personal atmosphere. Its leftfield music policy is forward thinking and with so many venues being lost to property development and gentrification, The Bridge represents one of the last strongholds for underground parties in the East End.

The welcoming venue boasts two equally sized floors, both of which are powered by a punchy and world class VOID sound system with exposed brick walls, original wood floors and plenty of outdoor space. In the past the venue has bounced to sets from icons like Loco Dice and Goldie and now it is ready to get back to creating those special sorts of musical memories.

The opening calendar features a whole new generation of forward thinking parties, brands and record labels including Bubbledee X Club De Visionnaire on September 17th with underground house and minimal from Bruno Schmidt, Andrea Giudice and Larry Cadge, Crowded on September 24th, then Berghain favourite Ryan Elliot headlines Bubbledee on November 5th. Kazoku The After Party is on November 19th with Astral Travel aka Anthea b2b Oshana, and in December Bubbledee welcomes another Berlin tastemaker with Answer Code Request.

Many more events and headliners are to come but at last the final countdown is on for the much anticipated return of The Bridge.

German pair GHEIST showcase their love of Disclosure classic ‘You & Me’ (Flume Remix) with a fresh new rework that adds their own magical style. This tune has been a huge hit already over summer with both fans and DJs like Adriatique going wild for it, so now it is presented as a giveaway to everyone as a free edit.

This duo is in a fine run of form right now after their Zukunft album on their own Radau Music last year, then a high profile video which touched on the subject of mental health. Now, this edit was a chance for GHEIST to show a different side and offer up a fun, unique tune that gets everyone together.

Says GHEIST, “Originally, we were working on this rework to create a special moment for our shows. As we were jamming in the studio one late night, we got so hooked on this song, but we would have never expected the feedback we were given. It makes us very happy to finally share our rework of this already amazing song with you, and hope for many more inspiring moments between You and Us.”

Disclosure – You & Me (Flume Remix) [GHEIST Rework] is a steamy six minute house cut with warm drums and a sensuous vocal build laced with rich chords. Eventually it drops and carries you away with wispy pads, well treated vocals and spine tingling depths.

Joseph Capriati is to become a resident on the legendary BBC1 Radio throughout November. Across 4 shows, the Italian will dig deep into his influences and inspirations and serve up music from his past, present and future to fans around the world.

Over the last decade-plus, Joseph Capriati has been on a constant mission to push forward as an artist. The Neapolitain’s sound is rooted in techno but is now also about so much more, as his wide-ranging debut album Metamorfosi on his own Redimension label proved. He has played major clubs and festivals all over the world from DC10 to Tomorrowland and proved his skills as a DJ with his seminal entry into the famous Fabric mix series.

This summer he hosted his own exclusive parties at Amnesia in Ibiza and again showcased that his influences range far and wide through many forms of house and techno. He has now made a lasting mark on the global dance music underground as he always builds on the past to take his sound, his sets, and his fans into the unknown.

This new residency shows that Joseph is a global tastemaker and will allow him to share some of the music he loves the most with the world.

After making a huge impact on the Ibizan landscape in its first season, Club Chinois has unveiled a finale of closing parties that will leave the island with lasting musical memories. Final gatherings for season residencies include, Ida Engberg, Themba, Luciano, Satori and Pablo Fierro, followed by one big Closing Party on Sunday 16th October with Luciano, Ida Engberg, Clint Lee and Manu Gonzalez. It has been a historic debut season for Club Chinois. Inside the venue formerly known as Heart Ibiza, this new nightspot brought high-octane and immersive world class events to a meticulously designed space. It boasts a world class sound system with interiors that blend opulent eastern cultures with the hedonism of Ibiza. Acclaimed resident DJs and superstar headline performers have delivered a wide mix of sounds including house, techno and disco each night of the week this season.

Now it all comes to a close, firstly with Ida Engberg presents UNA on Tuesday 13th September featuring Ida Engberg b2b Archie Hamilton – sure to throw up plenty of forward thinking house and techno sounds, as well as Berlin based dreamy, melodic techno innovator Jan Blomqvist along with Serge Devant, Yulia Niko and Airrica.

Monday 26th September sees the closing of the La Troya with the line up to follow.

On Wednesday 28th September, Afro house pioneer THEMBA hosts one last ‘Colours’ party alongside Nic Fanciulli, DJ Kent and Airrica – expect a cross-section of emotive and spiritual sounds.

Swiss-Chilean minimal kingpin Luciano has one last event on Saturday October 1st with a line up to be announced, and Satori closes his magical season with another immersive spectacular on Thursday 6th October featuring a set from him with SORA, Guy Laliberté and Clint Lee.

Saturday 14th October is the closing of Pablo Fierro’s sublime season with line up news to come.

Then there is one final hurrah on Saturday 16th October with some of the season’s favourite DJs returning for one more party. Luciano and Ida Engberg will bring their A-game and by now, know the club and crowd better than anyone, with house talents Clint Lee and Manu Gonzalez adding their own unique sounds.

It has been a special season at Club Chinois, and now there are only a few chances to experience what has been the most vital new addition to Ibiza in many years.
