Dcentralize, the rising star of the Web3 music scene is on fire right now! Furthermore, Dcentralize is excited to announce five new sponsors and partners to its ever-growing list.

Dr Amber Ghaddar – who has an impressive track record in finance and crypto, and a passion for music, dance & art – joins Dcentralize as Exec Chair and will work with the leadership team to support its strategic mission. Founder & CIO at AllianceBlock, and founder of the female-focused accelerator The 200bn Club, Amber is a well-recognised thought leader on governance and tokenomic models, and was featured in the Women in Crypto Powerlist 2020 by the Fintech Times, Innovate UK Fintech Senior Leaders Standout 2021 and Top Women in Crypto 2022.

Mariana Brandao joins the Dcentralize team as Music & Entertainment Business Development. Mariana is a respected and experienced personality within Web3 music, regularly speaking at industry conferences such as NFT.London.

Rounding off in style what has been a busy few weeks, Dcentralize completed the rollout of its new branding, which was developed with Muuv Creative, an industry-leading brand design agency for Web3-focussed clients.

Co-Founder and Creative Director Dan Healy said “We’re delighted we could play an integral part of Dcentralize’s journey, focusing their vision in a powerful strategic direction, and arming them with emotional brand messaging and a suite of stunning creative assets.”

The branding was released across the Dcentralize social channels in time for NFT.London, where the team hosted six after-parties in four days, in partnership with fellow Web3 heroes Stargaze, Artshelp, Pixelynx, Nickel Factory, Rekt Gang, melon.ooo & Space Ape Society at venues including Arcade Apes, PS Labs, The Ned & Leake Street Arches.

Dcentralize is delighted to welcome five new sponsors and partners to its ever-growing list:

Kujira is a Cosmos Layer 1 platform for community-selected projects creating true value.

Riot Labs produces award-winning premium e-liquid and sustainable disposable e-cigarettes in over 80 countries worldwide, as part of their mission to create a smoke-free world.

Zebu Live is the UK’s leading Web3 event’s brand, with a mission to foster mainstream adoption of crypto and blockchain tech, and push the boundaries of innovation.

Crypto Weekly Magazine provides a retrospective and leftfield digest on the previous week’s crypto news stories.

Nickel Factory is a unique startup on a mission to bring decentralized communities closer together through immersive and interactive IRL events.

Dcentralize Founder Ian Kerr says: “It’s been a busy and exciting few weeks for Dcentralize. Our feet have hardly touched the ground! We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Dr Amber and Mariana to our 28-strong (and growing) team, and we have no doubt they will provide invaluable experience and knowledge to enable us to achieve our strategic objectives. With our fantastic new branding launched and new sponsors on board, the positive developments for Dcentralize just keep on coming… and we’re only just getting warmed up!”

Dcentralize’s flagship event is a hybrid music festival and conference that will be held at Prestwold Hall Estate in August 2023. The live event will be streamed simultaneously in a custom-built metaverse hosted by Passage. Dcentralize’s Web3 music ecosystem services – including a ticketing platform, an NFT marketplace, and a music streaming platform – will be launched during Q1 and Q2 of 2023.

We Belong Here announce Kaskade and Lane8 as the first names on their huge 2023 return to Miami

We Belong Here is an all new kind of boutique festival. Whether it’s the unique circular stage, the sophisticated crowd, refined production or breathtaking setting on Miami’s Virginia Key Beach Park, there is no other festival on the planet quite like it. In 2023, the magic returns from the 25th to the 26th of February 2023, with headliners including Kaskade and Lane 8. Tickets start at $159 for full weekend VIP Admission and are available here.
We Belong Here does things differently. It is an intimate and luxurious experience for those who like personal connections and appreciate the finer details in life. This idyllic gathering plays out on the scenic and historic beaches of Virginia Key Beach Park, which dates back to 1896 and the formation of the state of Miami itself. The barrier island park features expansive wetlands and sweeping views of the bay and the Atlantic which make for a unique backdrop for spine-tingling musical moments when the sun sets, all in the most inclusive spot in Miami.
Rather than a towering main stage, last year We Belong Here pioneered the first ever 360 Experience, a circular stage placed in the centre of the dance floor that gets you up close to the performing artists and offers a full circle of sound with every position offering the perfect vantage spot, lots of space and great views. It allows for the formation of friends and musical memories like no other, with an incredible line-up featuring both international and local talents.

Kaskade is the first name to be revealed and will play a special 3-hour Redux set. These sets have been a firm part of his sound for many years. They are when the influential artist plays everything from future to classic to deep house as the superstar producer digs into the underground roots of his style. He has showcased similar sounds on a series of Redux EPs and though he still knows how to craft chart-topping magic, he also excels when embracing this side of his musical character.
Lane 8 meanwhile will play a sure-to-be stunning 3-hour sunset set. That time of day perfectly suits his melodic house style which is steeped in bittersweet beauty. The American artist has been perfecting this signature sound for years, and now predominantly releases on his own This Never Happened label. His fourth album Reviver was another big hit back in January of this year, so expect to hear some from it at this extended set.
Unlike typical festivals, the VIP amenities at We Belong Here will be accessible to all attendees. This includes an unmatched food experience, lounge seating, trailer style restrooms and more.
Says We Belong Here Co-Founder Justin Dauman; “The intention is to create the kind of experience and community that we’d like to be a part of not just in this moment, but for the rest of our lives.”
Fellow We Belong Here Co-Founder Charles Hochfelder adds, “We Belong Here is more than an event, it’s a community where everyone can feel welcome, be treated like a VIP, and experience dance music in a setting unique from traditional clubs, concert venues, or festivals.”
The range of accommodation at this special festival is second to none with hotels, villas and even yacht charters (yes, you can arrive at the venue by boat!) all available via a partnership with Miami-based travel-tech company CrewFare.
The proudly independent team behind We Belong Here has, in the past and with various brands, promoted events in leading clubs around New York City, The Hamptons and Miami. They live by the motto “by the people for the people” and launched We Belong Here in Halloween 2021 with a takeover of the first-ever New York Stock Exchange (now Cipriani Wall Street) headlined by MEDUZA. The 2022 single-day festival was a massive success featuring the likes of Nora En Pure, Purple Disco Machine and Don Diablo.
This upcoming February, the concept is expanding to 2 days with the help of Common Ground Presents, the team responsible for the wildly popular NYC Meatpacking District bar and pop ups in Montauk and Tulum that have hosted everyone from Diplo to Vintage Culture.

What’s more, a portion of event proceeds is donated to fund scholarships to Scratch Academy for Miami residents experiencing economic hardship. Graduating the program ensures a fully-fledged career as a professional DJ at weddings, private events and nightclubs as well as a foundation from which greater artistic aspirations can be achieved.
The countdown is now on to this tasteful two day getaway on Miami’s most gorgeous beach.

It’s a powerful track of unsettling techno futurism. Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot then join up for final cut Caterpillarwhich is built on a wonky and meandering acid line, with chattery percussion and manic acid, flashes of strobe, and plenty of manic techno intensity.

This is another quality release from Filth on Acid.

Brand new festival for Egypt, Saraab, to take place in the Red Sea Mountains feat. Âme, Maceo Plex, Gerd Janson, D’Julz, Lamache, Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough, Maher Daniel, Polo & Pan, William Djoko

Saraab Festival
Il Monte Galala, Egypt
December 1-2nd, 2022

byGanz Extraordinaire & Astral Element have teamed up to create Saraab, a new festival concept in the heart of the Red Sea Mountains of Il Monte Galala by Tatweer Misr, taking place December 1-2nd, 2022.

Have you ever woken up and not been able to make out the end of your dream and the beginning of your memories? Had a night that felt more illusion than reality? Met someone that seemed to be from another dimension?

“Like a mirage in the distance, we believe that the way things are is not the way they have to be. That when we come together, at the right time for the right reason, anything is achievable. Sound becomes language. Strangers become friends. Time a mere illusion. Some say it’s all an illusion, we prefer to call it Saraab.”

Saraab is a one of a kind 2-day electronic festival held by the majestic mountains of the Red Sea with a killer sea view. With a venue capacity of 3000 attendees and some of the biggest names in the electronic industry playing back to back, Saraab will be held over the span of two days across two main stages and a marketplace.

With a lineup announced that includes Polo & Pan (DJ set), Maceo Plex, Âme (live), Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough, Bas Ibellini, Terr, Lamache, Maher Daniel, Gerd Janson, D’Julz, Salomé Le Chat, William Djoko as well as local heroes, Misty, Chiati (live), Aroussi, DNGR GNGR and Maie; the SARAAB lineup will be unforgettable.

Along with two performing stages, the marketplace will include vendors of all kinds as well as a smaller stage with up and coming artists as Saraab looks to spotlight local and rising talent.

Saraab is bringing together DJs and visual artists and establishing a market where people can share their interests and products from vintage pieces to art pieces and fashion in a one-of-a-kind market alongside mouthwatering food pop-ups.

Located in Il Monte Galala, the top-notch destination is the ideal location for the event due to its raw natural beauty and space. The venue is spacious and versatile with a killer view of the mountains and the sea and located only an hour away from Cairo.

Polygon brings world’s most advanced, multi-sensory, 3D environment to festivals this winter

SHOWCASING AT MDLBEAST SOUNDSTORM 22  1–3rd DECEMBER AND AT WONDERFRUIT 15–18th DECEMBER 2022
Event-focused technology company Polygon Live is a pioneer in sound, lighting, engineering and design, and has produced the world’s most advanced, multi-sensory, 3D environment. Its technology is facilitating a live music revolution right here, right now and will be showcased at MDLBEAST Soundstorm in Saudi Arabia from 1 to 3 December, and at Wonderfruit in Thailand from 15 to 18 December, when party people will have the chance to delight in this state-of-the-art production first hand.
Polygon’s cutting-edge technology involves nothing less than a complete dismantling of everything you’ve encountered at an event before. It’s a relearning of what it means to interact with live sound and lighting. A deep-dive into heart-stopping, mind-bending, skeleton-quivering experiences, and it’s going global.
Founded in 2018, Polygon comprises a team of innovative experts who have come together to create a one-of-a-kind, 360-degree space. In practice, this involves building a hemispherical truss and rigging it with a system powered by L-Acoustics’ trailblazing L-ISA processor. L-ISA allows individual elements of the mix to be placed strategically throughout the soundscape, and spatialised to move 360 degrees around you. Combine this with synchronised lighting, holograms, pyrotechnics and even scent dispersion, and fans will lose themselves in an entirely novel sensory experience.
In this way, Polygon is not only redefining how music is enjoyed, but also setting a new benchmark in live event production.

“Traditional events typically involve a stage and an array of speakers that clearly distinguish artist from audience,” says Polygon CEO Nico Elliott. “Our approach is to dismantle these boundaries. In everything we do, we’re working to create a unified, cohesive, connected whole.”

While there is still a stage at Polygon (one occupied by some of the best electronic acts in the world), festival goers are likely to feel as though they’re almost indistinguishable from the instruments, synthesisers and samples around them. The sensation is one of fusion, of complete immersion.

“The original stereo patents are about 90 years old now,” Elliott adds. “And finally, there’s an alternative. A way of listening to — no, absorbing — music that is more immediate, more intense, and more visceral. Stand inside a Polygon stage, and the music moves through your bones.”
“We’ve also designed our system so that it can be moved across the world quickly and cost effectively,” he says. “Our upcoming shows at Soundstorm and Wonderfruit, less than a week apart if we consider the time it will take to derig the first and install the second, demonstrate this.”

Polygon’s partnership with Wonderfruit is well established, and the team has gone so far as to plant trees on site to help green the space and to reinforce the truss structure. Soundstorm and the 700,000 people it will host, offer a new playground for Polygon, and an invitation to push its limits once again. Nothing thrills the team more.
In 2023, Polygon is set for international expansion. But with Soundstorm and Wonderfruit coming up in just a few weeks, music lovers don’t have to wait long to see, hear and feel this spacialised stage for themselves.

L-Acoustics
Founded by quantum physicist Dr. Christian Heil in 1984, pioneering audio company L-Acoustics introduced technology that disrupted speaker systems as we know it. Their groundbreaking L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology enables artists to create and deliver new multidimensional sound experiences for live and recorded productions. Adopted by performers ranging from alt-J to the BBC Proms, Bon Iver to deadmau5, and now Polygon Live, this comprehensive ecosystem of audio tools provides an extremely natural and vivid experience that heightens emotions and invites the listener inside the music. Also adopted by one of the world’s greatest composers Ennio Morricone for his 2017-2018 tour, he said on the L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology: “More than ever before, there was a clear feeling of being enveloped by the musical performance.”
