Chic ft Nile Rodgers to open up this years Exit Festival
ONE WEEK TO EXIT: FINAL ACTS AND MORE STAGES REVEALED!
The excitement is building after the festival's 14th birthday party brought the main square of Novi Sad to stand still as CeeLo Green performed to 30,000 people. With only a week to go, festival goers will have 5 days of music, fun and sun to look forward to from 10th – 14th July 2013. Taking place in the magical Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the river Danube, EXIT continues to deliver the most adventurous and value for money festival experience, with a diverse and cutting edge line up, cheap food and drink onsite and over 600 artists, performing on 20 stages connected by cobbled streets, ramparts and tunnels.
EXIT OPENING PARTY!
EXIT's first night features a stint in the city of Novi Sad followed by a performance at the fortress by legendary hitmaker Nile Rogers, the man behind the chart topping Daft Punk hit 'Get Lucky' kicking things off in disco dancing style with his original band CHIC on Wednesday 10th July. CHIC, is one of the most notable pop and disco sensations of all time with their their hits, "Good Times", "Dance, Dance, Dance", "Everybody Dance", "I Want Your Love” and “Le Freak” being recognisable all around the world. Not only that but there's performances from Arcadia, AREA51 and AlterNacija.
DANCE ARENA SUNDAY FINALE!
EXIT Dance Arena reveals the final names for the Sunday closing party extravaganza with legendary Kerri Chandler, Guti live and George Fitzgerald who now joins Scuba b2b as Scuba is sadly now unable to perform his live show. Smashing the walls of the fortress, Sunday is always the loosest of nights, with local heroMarko Nastic closing the arena with his crazy antics.

The HappyNoviSad Stage features the most progressive styles of alternative electronic music, testing the boundaries of creativity and without compromise. Kicking off the proceedings with one of the leading world's underground labels, the legendary Dutch label Clone, with DJ Serge being the mastermind behind it all. Founded all the way back in 1993, this label drew public attention in a short period of time thanks to the fresh approach to classic sounds and beats of Chicago house, Detroit techno, electro, disco and italo-disco. Clone's flag at the festival will be flown by Gerd, Alden Tyrell and Dexter. Saturday features Leisure System with Dopplereffekt, Ikonika and Visionist. Leisure System has been claiming the famous Berghain in Berlin its home for years now, safe to say we can't wait for some of their tunes to echo through the fortress walls. Om Unit, Dawn Day Night and dBridge, who at the same time celebrates the 10th birthday of his famous label Exit Records, which was created as Darren White’s (dBridge) token of love for music. Armin Van Buuren eagerly returns to perform for Australian fans for the first time since Stereosonic 2011. His amazing new album "Intense" continues to receive a huge response, with Australian fans embracing "This Is What It Feels Like" by propelling the track to the top of the charts in June and July. The ever vivacious DJ, David Guetta will bring the party to Stereosonic. Countless number 1 tracks, platinum albums, worldwide tours….the accolade list goes on for this defining DJ. Who doesn’t know and love his legendary club night in Ibiza, F*ck Me I’m Famous? He continues to express such enthusiasm and energy within his sets that as a listener you can't help but become involved, as you join thousands of others singing along to some of dance music's biggest anthems.
One of the most loved acts of Stereosonic 2012, Calvin Harris returns! With even more chart toppers, awards and touring success underneath his belt, anticipation is high. His iconic set of Stereosonic last year has been downloaded and streamed ten of thousands of times since, indicating his ability to deliver one hell of a good time.

This all encompassing show will feature state of the art costume, set and performance design and a string of genre-defining hits from their albums that have taken the world by storm.
After a huge sold out, national tour, in February, Above and Beyond return for their first Stereosonic mainstage performance and a killer show to go with it. Australia loves them, we love them and you will too.
Appearing for the first time since their unbelievable performance as part of Swedish House Mafia earlier this year, are Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. Both artists, since One Last Tour have produced chart topping tracks. Expect Axwell's "Centre of the Universe" and Sebastian Ingrosso's "Reload" to pump loudly across the festival grounds with tens of thousands of people to bear witness to their individual performances.

What would be a Stereosonic without Afrojack? He returns to rock the socks off Stereosonic patrons and will showcase tracks off his new album, due later this year. Expect his signature sound and on-stage antics to be a highlight!
As electronic music has exploded across the globe in the last few years so too has the emergence of acts redefining genres. Arguably four of the biggest emerging acts in the last two years to do this are “ I Could Be The One” chart topper, Nicky Romero, “Clarity” virtuoso, Zedd, the Chicago trio that loves to “Play Hard”, Krewella and “Easy” chart topper Mat Zo.These distinctive acts are taking a fresh approach to their genres and encourage fans to be part of their rise to the top.

Bringing the cool will be a juggernaut of artists. Leading the charge of the hip acts will be the debut performance at Stereosonic of Boys Noize. With the “Go Hard” EP highlighting the diversity of the Boys Noize sound, expect to be taken on a roller coaster ride with this performance. Boys Noize will also be hitting the stage in another reincarnation; as Dog Blood. The Skrillex and Boys Noize hybrid act has quickly gained a reputation of knocking the wind out of everyone with their wild sets. Their first track “ Next Order” has been dropped in sets across the world and induces the listener to move move move! If their Coachella set is anything to go by, expect the very best for their debut Australian performance…Awesomeness!

Blatantly asking you “ Did I Make You F*ing Dance?” , Robert’s debut performance at Stereosonic is highly anticipated. Joining him with be another breakout artist of the last 12 months, Norwegian disco synth pop artists, Lemaitre. Their Relativity 3 EP reached #12 in the Australian iTunes charts and their tracks continue to receive huge airplay across the globe. With the release of his latest track, “ Meet Her In Miami” following the success of previous hit tracks, “Tokyo” and the #1 voted ASOT trance track of 2012 “Concrete Angel” , expect Gareth to leave nothing unexplored during his Stereosonic tour.
An act to continually redefine his onstage presence, Giuseppe Ottaviani will present his live show to Stereosonic fans. His latest album release, “Magenta” has been described as “…encapsulating the true essence of trance” , an ethos that this Italian clearly projects on stage. Another iconic artist that fans will be thrilled to see perform will be “pure trance” advocate Solarstone, who has enjoyed massive beatport success with his releases that remain true to the pure sounds of trance.
Further substantiating the trance contingency will be wunderkinds, Heatbeat, with their signature sound, and up and coming Irish artist, Bryan Kearney. These artists will make sure fans get their dose of the faster, darker, more driving side of this genre.
But that’s not the last of it! Ferry Corsten will be presenting his very own FULL ON arena. Lead by Ferry himself, fans will experience 15 minute back to back sets with Ferry and all of his guests on stage. Armada young gun and the highly anticipated “modern day Mozart” , Andrew Rayel will round out the FULL ON arena with Tritonal and Jochen Miller.
Exemplifying the epic vibe Stereosonic is known for are two exceptional house acts, Tommy Trash and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Tommy’s phenomenal high energy performance at last year's event went down in the history books as one of the best moments of the festival. Expect to hear his latest track with fellow Stereosonic artist, Sebastian Ingrosso, “Reload” , blasted throughout the festival arena. This vibe will also be championed by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Self proclaimed as “…the world’s most energetic house DJ duo”, they will make their debut performance at Stereosonic.
Just as you’ll be regaining your breath you’ll need to catch two of the UK’s standout acts of the last 12 months, Labrinth and Nero. Both artists have had huge releases, resulting in awards and accolades aplenty. Labrinth , the crossover bass master’s debut release “ Electronic Earth” featured the Brit Award nominated single “ “Beneath Your Beautiful” with Emeli Sandé. Whilst Nero’s defining EP “ Won’t You (Be There)” featured in Zane Lowe’s Top 100 Hottest Records of 2012.

The eclectic mix of bass acts to perform in this huge arena include Matrix & Futurebound, Doctor P, Andy C, Noisia & Foreign Beggars presented, I AM LEGION, ƱZ and Drumsound & Bassline Smith. DAVID GUETTA, STEVE ANGELLO, MARK KNIGHT AND TOM STAAR JOIN EXIT FESTIVAL
The EXIT electronic line up is hotting up with king of the beat David Guetta leading the charge, playing his distinctive sound and game-changing mega hits. Coming to Novi Sad straight from his Ibizan 'F*ck Me I'm Famous' residency David Guetta will be staging the mother of all parties combining different influences and some of the most recognizable house tunes ever. Bringing his live show to the Dance Arena, it will be an unforgettable night! If that isn't enough, three masters of house music Steve Angello, Mark Knight and Tom Staar will also be taking to the decks making this year's Dance Arena party one to remember. Adding this to the already announced Fatboy Slim, Dubfire, Eric Prydz, Jeff Mills, Pan-Pot, Apollonia and Seth Troxler to name a few, makes this summers EXIT Festival the place to be for electronic music lovers. Casting a spell on both performers and party goers, the legendary Dance Arena continues to attract like minded people from around the world to party hard and dance all night long!
David Guetta is the most famous DJ and producer in the world will be treating the audience with his super hyped-up set offering everything from pumping house beats to mind boggling electro and of course his chart topping tracks made with A list collaborators. David Guetta came a long way from Paris underground scene to magazine covers and red carpet events all thanks to his obsessive urge for constant improvement. Never ending DJ trips and production adventures with the likes of Kelly Rowland, Akon, Madonna, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna and many others made him globally recognizable dance music icon. Hit singles such as "When Love Takes Over", "Memories" and "Sweat" made thousands of hours of radio play worldwide and conquered clubs from Tokyo to Ibiza. With topping prestigious DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ list in 2011, winning two Grammys, MTV Europe Music awards and receiving numerous other recognitions it would seem that there is nothing much left to do for Mr. Guetta. In contrast to that all that is important to him seems to be making people happy: "It doesn't matter if I make a beat that's going to be a song on the radio, or if I make a record that's meant to please DJs, I always just think of making people dance-that's my first priority."
Another member of the house music elite, Steve Angello will make his EXIT performance a beginning of the new era in his career. Angello gained massive popularity, global superstar status and his Grammy nomination as part of the world's biggest dance super group, Swedish House Mafia, alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. Now as SHM ceases to exist, Angello devotes himself to production and remixing work on his label, Size Records. Having made smashing hits with his friends Eric Prydz, Axwell and Ingrosso, Steve Angello also showed his ability to adapt to any music genre in remixing tunes from Justin Timberlake, Will.I.Am, Eurythmics, Pendulum, Moby and Deep Dish. Anthems such as "Save the World", "Antidote", "Greyhound" and "One", brought him fame and recognition as part of Swedish House Mafia while "Summer Noize", "Yeah" and "Raining Again" made his solo act rise to highest echelons of house music. Now he is coming to deliver a portion of his fresh style and enthusiasm to the roaring crowds of Dance Arena.
Charismatic Mark Knight has blessed the scene with more than his natural DJing and production talents, having gathered one of the most impressive flocks of electronic music performers on his Toolroom Records. David Guetta, Faithless, Florence + The Machine, Umek and Underworld are just some of the artists signed to his label. Just like Steve Angello, Knight has his Grammy nomination, but also three best sellers on Beatport and dance floor dominators such as "Downpipe", "Good Times" and "Devil Walking".
Tom Staar is the one to be heard of in the future. Dance Arena party people will dance until dawn breaks to the rhythm of Moda Records owner. His seductive beats will reverberate around fortress walls of one of the best open air venues in the world, Fatboy Slim's boy wonder, catch him before he heads for the stars.
