Lovebox Bang the Box Friday Full Lineup revealed

Bang the Box is Lovebox’s occasional heavy-duty party, which until now has been pitching a fresh take on an inspiring hybrid of dance sounds in the cities underground venues .Now for the first time Bang The Box reappears at London’s most energetic festival in all its glory with 3 forward thinking, exciting and influential collaborations that include Vice a UK festival debut by Ed Banger and FWD>>+Rinse as well the Gaymer’s Stage jam packed with a selection of some the most thrilling party starting bands that are making some of the biggest noises this year with their newly released albums. Whilst these acts bust the speakers on the main stages our pioneering electronic maestros will be hosting the outdoor soundsystems and Lovebox’s trade mark, high production stages giving Londoners the best value festival ticket in the UK. You’d be hard pushed to beat all this for £28.50.
 
A capital city Festival exclusive see’s Rinse FM,in house record label Tempa and there long running club night FWD bring their underground sound right back to its roots with dubstep overlord Skream, Kode9 and Roll Deep, Zinc, Geneus & Tippa spin alongside the full power of this heavyweight crew as 18 key members of the bass family take control of one corner of the filed to broadcast  live what the rest of country is following on the headphones, iPods and radio’s Busy P is boasting an Ed Banger party not to be missed offering Friday-goers sets from SebastiAn, Cassius and more. Notorious culture magazine, Vice’s arena gives us appearances from Spank Rock, Flying Lotus and Hudson Mohawke and the Gaymer’s main stage offers performances from Metronomy, the Wombats, Beardyman and Example. You’d be hard pushed to find better value at £28.50 for a ticket.
 
Rinse FM, to many fans of underground music, is London. From its beginnings 16 years ago as a DIY pirate to a thriving empire, containing a studio, label, clubnight (the legendary FWD>>), it’s clear to see: without Rinse FM, dubstep, grime, UK Funky and the current wave of “post-dubstep” creatives wouldn’t exist the way you know them. They are responsible for bringing stars like Katy B and Magnetic Man and many more to a mainstream audience – Katy B and member of Magnetic Man, Skream will both be appearing at the stage along with Rinse founder Geneeus, internationally acclaimed electronic artist, DJ, and owner of the Hyperdub record label Kode 9, Roska, Ms Dynamite, Brackles and many more.
 
Busy P will be bringing his stamp to the RELENTLESS ENERGY DRINK ARENA as on Friday, iconic Parisian dance stable Ed Banger Records will launch a full-blown attack on Lovebox patrons ears by presenting enfant terrible SebastiAn, French house duo Cassius, electropop Lolita Uffie and DJ superteam Carte Blanche. Ed Banger head honcho Busy P will be teaming up with graphic designer and illustrator So Me to form Busy Pictionary. In a feast for the eyes and ears, So Me will be creating live artwork on stage whilst Busy P spins the decks. 
 
The notorious Lovebox NYC Downlow stage,a mock down town sleaze club plays host to Vice. Taylor-made for London’s hippest bright young things, Friday’s festival-goers will be treated to a very special appearance from Baltimore Bass King, Spank Rock performing tracks from his forthcoming Boyz Noise produced album and Warp Records’ Hudson Mohawke will also be live on  stage unleashing his new eargley anticipated album. Label mate Flying Lotus headlines the live acts .The avant-garde L.A. native producer of otherworldy, and experimental,multi-genre sounds has been heavily influenced by his family’s jazz heritage as well as his love of drum and bass, West Coast gangsta rap and G-Funk melodies. A unique and pioneering electronic artist, his most recent album, Cosmogramma, has been described by Mary Anne Hobbs as “A completely new sonic language. Lotus is like Hendrix – he’s completely torn up the rule book in electronic music… I hear his sound echoing in every corner of the planet.” Also appearing will be Essex raver Herve and a extremely rare live slot by Photek.
 
The outdoor Gaymers live stage will see appearances from one of Britain’s most exciting live bands, the Wombats, 20-year-old singer songwriter Ed Sheeran and multi talented pop/rock six piece Architecture in Helsinki as well as performances from beatboxing festival regular Beardyman and indie-dance darlings Metronomy.
 
We’re also pleased to announce a new arena – The Bacardi Get Together, which will provide surroundings perfectly encompassing both a place to soak up the festival atmosphere together over a BACARDÍ cocktail, and the ultimate place to party. With an eclectic spread of DJs, producers and crews over the course of all three days culminating in unforgettable ultimate finales where the crowds will see 3 DJ greats join forces behind the decks for a one off – never before heard ‘BACARDÍ Together Set’. Included in the impressive BACARDÍ Get Together Friday line up is Italian-Belgian maestro, Aeroplane, electro and techno Fabric resident, Stopmakingme and cutting edge DJs and founders of the Moda clubnight, Jaymo and Andy George.
