Sónar by Day add 30 more amazing acts

The American band Chromatics is undoubtedly one of today's most critically acclaimed and publicly adored groups.  They head the new additions to Sónar by Day, with their high-end, 80’s italo-disco influenced electronic pop sound.

Meanwhile, the charismatic Sebastien Tellier will appear with his most recent album under his arm for a luminescent, top-notch pop concert.  No less important, Atom TM (aka Atom Heart or Señor Coconut) will follow suit with their excellent new album "HD", recently published on prestigious German label Raster_Noton.

Sónar by Day adds three more European projects, all of whom have a powerful stage presence: the Dutch band Skip & Die, with the striking Cata Pirata fronting a sound between MIA and Die Antwoord, the French act Jackson and his Computer Band, Warp’s previous star signing return with their masterful technological galactic funk show and the Icelandic Sísý Ey, arriving from a triumphant Sónar Reykjavik performance with their organic style house and breathtaking voices.

The most exciting artists from the national scene

Since its very first edition, Sónar’s commitment to its local and national scene remains unchanged. The 20th Anniversary provides fresh impetus to this commitment with the inclusion of more than a dozen new names to Sónar by Day: the stratospheric Za!(considered one of the best live bands in the country), the Sevillian beatmaker Lost Twin, the wild and provocative Menja Tiger Zebra, the illustrated noise of Evol, the electronic and audiovisual perfectionist Wooky, the dialogue between the cello and laptop of Sara Galan & Edu Comelles, the audio poetry of Jansky, the unrestrained experimentation of Coagul, the IDM and aural sound-scapes of XTRNGR and Drömnu, the groove from the decks of Dj Tutu and the evocative digital processes of Tges

Red Bull Music Academy at SonarDôme

The global roaming talent-developing academy adds new names to the SonarDôme stage. Notable live act highlights include American duo Metro Area, considered the masters of the revamped disco revival at the beginning 21st century, the iconoclastic pairings of Felix Kubin & James Pants and JESSE & Jimi Tenor, the machine-less techno of Austrians Elektro Guzzi, the freestyle rap of Oddise, the ghetto beats set of Branko (member of Buraka Som Sistema), and the high quality reflective hip-hop of Madrid’s C. Tangana.

Completing the line up Kidsuke (the duo formed by Kidkanevil and Daisuke Tanabe), Cassegrain (deep techno from Greece and Germany), Palmbolen (psychedelica with touches of dub and krautrock), DZA (hip hop beats and rhymes from Russia), Satore(Mallorcan deep house straight from the heart) and We Like Turtles (the in demand dj duo from Tarragona).

Beardyman, Hermutt Lobby and the Barcelona Laptop Orchestra at Sonar+D shows.

Sonar+D of course, draws on the talent of the Sónar music line up and includes three concerts from BeardymanHermutt Lobby and the Barcelona Laptop Orchestra. Sonar+D highlights these concerts for their technological relevance and the use of mobile devices in their development and implementation.

Beardyman

The visual artists, presented in the Interactive Forum

The "creative coding" and postdigital experimentation stage will have an Interactive forum and allow a space to discover the creators and programmers behind this visual culture. Passing through (among others) will be Berlin visual studio Pfadfinderai(regular accomplices of Modeselektor and Paul Kalkbrener) and Barcelona’s Mr Doob (collaborator of Google Data Arts Team).

Companies and entrepreneurs, Sonar+D’s protagonists

Companies and entrepreneurs from creative industries will be able to showcase products, services and projects in the new Market Place space. There will be practical demos at Hands On Area, an area which will have its own stage, Meet The Expert to schedule meetings with experts and the App Bar to discover apps and get to know his developers.

SonarCinema screenings  Each year at Sónar by Day, SonarCinema screens, movies, documentaries and audiovisual work in harmony with the festival, either for it’s interesting content or its high artistic value.

SónarCinema announce five first screenings which give shape to its programming: "Reincarnations" tells the story of the change in character of the great Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion after his visit to Jamaica and his new love for reggae music; "We Are Modeselektor" delves into the world of one of the most important duos in today's electronica (also appearing in this years line up at Sónar by Day); the short film "Umshini Wam" stars Die Antwoord and is directed by Harmony Korine ("Gummo" and "Spring Breakers" among others); also, a compilation of the American director Max Albert’s work for Mad Decent (Diplo’s label) and six episodes of "HΔSHTAG$", a series about emerging music genres on the internet, produced by the Red Bull Music Academy.

Comedy in the Woods returns to End of the Road Festival

Set in a secluded glade in the woods around Larmer Tree Gardens, End of the Road's comedy stage is a big favourite, and this year's promises to be the funniest and most lovable lineup yet. Here's the full bill, with notes by the festival's comedy creator Sarah Bennetto.

Phil Nichol

Multi-multi award winning Canadian livewire stand-up and brilliant actor. Nominated for the Perrier, and then went on to win it a few years later! His first ever appearance at EotR.

Michael Legge and Robin Ince: 'Pointless Anger, Righteous Ire'

Their infamous grumpy men show will be a late show at EotR 2013. Both will also be doing an afternoon stand-up set during the weekend. Passionate, hilarious tirades, delivered with a warm heart and a wink.

Nick Doody

An EotR first for this incisive political comedian and writer. A critic’s favourite, once he gets on a roll, it’s a thing to behold.

Joey Page

Described by his friend, Noel Fielding as "A stylish comedian with a sonic imagination and a twinkle in his eye", time spent in Joey’s wonderful world will lighten your soul. As seen on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, this will be Joey’s first appearance at EotR. We are chuffed to have him!

Colin Hoult

A cavalcade of comedy characters that are some kind of warped genius. It’s no surprise he’s on every TV show going at the moment (from Being Human to Russell Howard’s Good News and Harry Hill’s TV Burp, and more!). Colin’s first ever appearance at EotR.

Tom Allen

Tom Allen is charm embodied. But don’t be fooled, there’s sharp wit behind the glint in his eye. Tom’s now famous spontaneous rant at No Direction Home Festival about his somewhat modest tent, the Vango Banshee 200, had people crying tears of hilarity. Not to be missed.

Sarah Bennetto

Stand-up comic and host of radio show, Mix-Tape, Sarah also hosts Storytellers’ Club. Sarah has been touring a new show since her last EotR, and comes prepared with a swathe of new jokes and wild stories in her satchel.

Stuart Black

Bleak, brilliant tirades about modern life. A whip-sharp wit, and comedian’s favourite. In many ways, Black, is a Dylan Moran for the anti-folk generation. First time at EotR.

Chris Coltrane

Chris’ ascent has been rapid for a reason: he’s very good at jokes and it’s obvious he cares about his fellow man. Irreverent, political musings, remarkable stories, coupled with sharp writing mean this EotR debut will be sure to impress.

John Robins

Compering one afternoon’s stand-up show. A terrific stand-up, who – as it happens – names all his shows with song references (including songs by Bon Iver and Godspeed You! Black Emperor). When he’s onstage, fun is sure to follow.

Robin and Partridge

Compering an afternoon show. This comedy duo bring to EotR their free-wheeling whimsy, with killer punchlines. Both clever minds, their sense of wonder and magic means there’ll be loads of clowning around from these two criminally pretty boys.

Felicity Ward
A hotly-tipped Australian stand-up and actor, in demand all over the world. With great and gruesome characters and heart-wrenchingly hilarious tales, she'll make you love her. This is Felicity's first time at EotR.

Storytellers’ Club

A selection of the best comedians (and sometime EotR musicians!) join Sarah Bennetto to tell their amazing tales. Always popular.

The music lineup at this year's End of the Road Festival is topped by Belle and SebastianSigur RósDavid Byrne & St Vincent and Eels.

The Fratellis, Lucy Spraggan and more added to Bingley Music Live Festival

The FratellisLucy SpragganCharlie BrownThe Lake PoetsThe Temperance Movement andLovable Rogues are the latest acts to join the line-up for this year’s Bingley Music Live.

Covering a multitude of musical genres these latest additions are a fantastic demonstration of Bingley Music Live’s on-going commitment to showcasing the widest variety of established and grass roots talent. They willappear at Myrtle Park between August 30th-September 1st alongside Primal ScreamThe Cribs and The Wonder Stuff.

Myrtle Park is looking forward to welcoming back Jon Fratelli, this time with his band, the recently reformedThe Fratellis. After a three year hiatus the Brit Award winning, Glaswegian indie-rock trio make a triumphant return to the UK festival scene to promote their third album, scheduled for release in September.  The NME revelled in their “bouncing glamorama” and you can expect the entire BML audience to be doing its fair share of pogoing to their classic hit Chelsea Dagger.

Solo musician Lucy Spraggan, who comes from Sheffield, describes her genre as ‘A-Flop’: a winning mix of acoustic, folk and hip hop. Already picked out by Radio One’s Tom Deacon for her “star quality” Lucy has had an incredibly busy couple of years. Not only was she a runner up in the Live and Unsigned competition at the age of 20, she also briefly appeared on X-Factor before sadly withdrawing due to ill health.  Now back to full strength, 2013 could be Lucy’s breakthrough year into the mainstream.

London-based singer-song-writer Charlie Brown is destined to make a mark on the RnB scene this year. With a string of successful collaborations under his belt including working alongside Tinchy Stryder, Alphabeat, Wiley, as well as, previous Bingley Music Live performers Professor Green and Dionne Bromfield. Charlie Brown’ssoulful melodies and pop-sensibilities have quickly cemented his reputation. Signed to Universal’s All Around The World record label, his singles Dependency and On My Way come ahead of the launch of a hotly anticipated album.

Charlie Brown

Described by the only permanent band member Martin Longstaff as "a collaborative scene in Sunderland" The Lake Poets music is an enthralling blend of acoustic indie-folk.  The fluid and ever evolving line up brings together a plethora of instruments and sounds. With a name that pays homage to a group of 19th Century English romantic writers, The Lake Poets’ music is equally emotive. Our intimate, tree lined venue provides the perfect arena to witness Martin and co.’s haunting performance.

The Temperance Movement in their own words “carry a torch for a fading generation of live bands” which sounds like the perfect reason to catch them doing what they do best at this year’s Bingley Music Live. But what to expect? Recent EP Pride offers a sublime blues drenched fusion of explosive, passionate and soulful music – all played very LOUD. With sell out shows from London to Glasgow The Temperance Movement are causing quite a stir, so come and see for yourself what the commotion is all about.

As a family-friendly event, we are thrilled to bring an element of pure pop to proceedings. Coming to Bingley Music Live this year, Loveable Rogues are not your standard boy band. Signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label, the three London lads rose to fame by reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012. So far, so familiar? Yet Eddie, Sonny and Te write and perform their own songs and are building an impressive fan base. Having recently supported Olly Murs, the boys’ popularity is sure to grow during 2013.

Pete Tong, The Cribs and more set for Jersey Live

Joining Fatboy Slim on the Main Stage are Yorkshire indie rockers The Cribs and BRIT Award Critic’s Choice winner Tom Odell, and the Dance Stage will be headlined by Belgian drum & bass star Netsky (Saturday 31st August) and iconic Radio One DJ Pete Tong (Sunday 1st September).

Pete TongThe Dance Stage also features dubstepper Doctor P, house starlets Waze & OdysseyDusky and Hot Since 82, Canadian electro house duo Zeds Dead and hotly-tipped young producer Russ Chimes. Meanwhile on the Hospitality Stage, Jersey Live favourite Craig Charles is set to return to the festival with a sack full of funk and soul classics and rarities, and French artist Kanka brings his electro-infused dub and reggae stylings to Jersey Live for the first time. Kanka will also appear on the Folklore Stage as well as the returning Count Sizzle, whose antique beats and vintage gems make him a firm favourite on the festival circuit. Hip Hop/funk DJ duo Fuzzbox Inc and Jersey Live organisers Warren Le Sueur and Warren Holt, who will line up to DJ on the Dance Stage for the first time in seven years.

FULL LINE UP TO DATE:

Osfest – Break for the Border update

With just 5 weeks to go, Osfest is in full swing of preparing for its fourth year, this time operating as Break for the Border 2013. With a huge expectancy from previously successful years, the Osfest team prepares to deliver its most exciting line up to date. This year the festival falls on bank holiday 24th – 27th May at its usual location of Oswestry Showground, Shropshire.

Other artists on the Saturday line up are WILEY, LAWSON, TICH and CHARLIE BROWN who have all hit the top 10 this year. Osfest are also very excited to have A*M*E who is currently sat at the top of the charts with her single featuring Duke Dumont, ‘Need U (100%)’.

Sunday’s familiar ‘Indie’ day features THE ENEMY and X factor winner JAMES ARTHUR. James was the most requested artist for this year’s festival and organisers are over joyed that he was available. Also filling the Sunday bill are THE PIGEON DETECTIVES, LUCY SPRAGGAN and LEWIS WATSON.

Local bands and artists are a huge part of Osfest, giving emerging acts a chance to showcase their talents to the field of thousands. Supporting acts this year include The Fallows, Rook and the Ravens, The Taste, Get Cubs, The Lottery Winners, Danny Gruff and the Peacemakers, The Gramotones, Blindsyde, Sounds and Scenarios, JKLMNO, The Novatones, Beat the Poet, Dan the Thief, The Maydays, Portlights, Salopia, Hollie Aires, Not Completely Blonde and Shameless Faith. Osfest have without doubt met the expectant growth with this years line up but tickets are for once very limited. Only 5000 tickets are available due to the main stage being under a big top tent.  This decision was made after last year’s festival field turned into a mud bath. Anyone planning on booking tickets for Osfest should do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as they are expected to sell out over the next few weeks.

As always, Osfest prides itself on being a family friendly festival and this year the festivals family camping area will be increased to house more families wanting to bring there kids for a fun fuelled weekend.

Tickets for Osfest – Break for the Border, start from £29.50 for an under 16’s day ticket, camping and non – camping weekend tickets are available from £65.00. VIP tickets are limited but offer a fantastic package including an exclusive VIP tent in view of the stage, private camping area and use of VIP toilets!

My Bloody Valentine and more added to T in the Park lineup

T in the Park have today announced more top acts for the 20th year celebrations. My Bloody ValentineTrash Talk,FIDLAR and The Virginmarys are the latest artists to join the T in the Park bill, and will be performing in Kinross over 12th – 14th July.

The hugely influential My Bloody Valentine will make their T in the Park debut this July, in what’s sure to be a very special moment at the festival’s 20th year celebrations. Their much revered debut album Isn’t Anything and their iconic second release Loveless earned the band a devoted following and global critical acclaim. Their long awaited third album m b v has been 22 years in the making, and when they released it on their website in February, demand from fans was so phenomenal it caused the site to crash within minutes. An exhilarating live act, they’ll showcase their highly acclaimed new material as well as classics such as You Made Me Realise andOnly Shallow from their much loved back catalogue.

My Bloody Valentine

Sacramento punk group Trash Talk take their influence from American hardcore and speed metal. The group’s steady touring has won them a rapidly growing fan base, and support slots with Odd Future (OFWGKTA) raised their profile even further. They’re guaranteed to deliver a stand out set at T in the Park.

Also making the trip to Scotland from the sunshine state will be punk outfit FIDLAR. The LA four-piece released their eponymous debut album in January, receiving much acclaim for their collection of frenetic, fuzzed out, west coast punk tracks. They caused a stir with their slot at this year’s SXSW, and if past performances are anything to go by, they’re sure to put on a blistering set at T in the Park this July.

Macclesfield’s The Virginmarys were another buzz band in Austin last month. Their blend of punk, grunge and rock ‘n’ roll influences has already landed them an iTunes single of the week both in the UK and US. Their debut album King of Conflict has won the band plaudits from across the globe, as well as an impressive international fan base, with Slash famously declaring himself a fan, and their set at T in the Park is not to be missed.

Over 85,000 festival-goers per day will descend on Kinross over 12th – 14th July for the 20th year ofT in the Park, which will feature performances by some of the hottest acts on the planet, including headliners Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers, plus Stereophonics, Kraftwerk, Beady Eye, Foals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, The Courteeners, Frightened Rabbit, Twin Atlantic, The View, Editors, Frank Turner, Ocean Colour Scene, Imagine Dragons, Local Natives, The 1975, Palma Violets, Peace, The Strypes, British Sea Power, plus many more still to be announced.

The Smashing Pumpkins set for Poland’s Off Festival

OFF are proud to announce that the legendary American band Smashing Pumpkins will be one of the headlining acts at this year's OFF Festival. But they're not the only reason to come to Katowice this summer: get a taste of Brutal Truth's merciless deathgrind, Austra's captivating electro sounds, the raw rock power of Japandroids, and revisit the 90s with a performance of Molesta Ewenement's debut album. All this and more, only at the OFF Festival!

The Smashing Pumpkins
Rarely can a 90s band still surprise audiences and offer something more than just a rehash of their former glory. Led by the charismatic Billy Corgan, the Smashing Pumpkins continue to explore their art, most recently with the epic, dark Oceania, released in 2012. But this American band's OFF Festival set is sure to feature trips down memory lane to songs off of Siamese Dream and Adore, to the bittersweet melancholy known only to those who have tasted Chicago's very own Pumpkins. We just can't wait.

Smashing Pumpkins

Austra
There's a magical moment at every Austra concert when Katie Stelmanis, the Canadian group's lead vocalist, reveals the true might of her classically-trained voice, and the visualizations behind the musicians depict falling stars, as if it were her knocking them down with her singing… Austra is an exceptional act, one that combines just the right proportions of gothic coldness and dance potential. The group's second album, Olympia, the follow-up to Austra's universally acclaimed Feel It Break, is slated for release before their summer appearance at the OFF Festival.

Molesta Ewenement performs Skandal
Produced by DJ 600V under Molesta Ewenement's early name, Mistic Molesta, the 1998 album Skandal is one of the cornerstones of Polish hip-hop. "Wiedzialem, ze tak bedzie," "Sie zyje," "Osiedlowe akcje" – every track on the album has since become a classic. We're proud to announce that Vienio, Wlodi, and Pelson will be going back in time to perform Skandal in its entirety at the OFF Festival.

Mikal Cronin
Mikal Cronin first appeared at the OFF Festival as a member of Ty Segall's band. Now it's time for a solo performance by a guy who's growing up to be one of the most influential Californian songwriters of the younger generation. His sophomore album, MCII, set for release in late May, proves that while Cronin hasn't forgotten how to distort his guitar, he has come a long from the dirty psychedelic sounds of his earlier days; the record is a collection of excellent, captivating tracks that are just perfect for live performances.

Brutal Truth
Extreme conditions demand extreme responses: Brutal Truth's artistic motto also happens to be the title of their 1992 debut album. Founded by bass player Dan Lilker (known for his work with the first incarnation of Anthrax as well as such acts as Nuclear Assault and S.O.D.), the band has achieved the impossible by shifting the boundaries of extreme music beyond even the most radical forms of death metal and grindcore towards the avant-garde. They recently even collaborated with Robert Piotrowicz, a leading figure in the world of Polish contemporary music. Brutal Truth's last album to date is 2011's End Time, but it's clear that the band has not yet had the last word.

Japandroids
A Canadian duo – guitar, drums, and two screaming mouths – who make enough noise for five people. Brian King and David Prowse have been putting their whole hearts into restoring the credibility of pure-blooded rock with a massive sound and catchy riffs since 2006. Last year they came out with Celebration Rock, one of those rare albums that gets appreciated at the offices of Rolling Stone as well as Pitchfork. And just wait till you see Japandroids live!

Woods
Woods may be from Brooklyn, but their folk-rocky, slightly psychedelic and often catchy songs sound like they have more in common with the Californian music scene. The band has been astoundingly prolific since they started in 2006, releasing no less than five albums (2012 Bend Beyond being the last to date) and a stack of EPs, and performing innumerable energetic live shows that captivate audiences with a flower-power rock vibe for our times.

Nite Jewel and Peanut Butter Wolf perform Kraftwerk's Computer World Computer
World is the eighth album by the German act Kraftwerk, released in May 1981 and now considered to be the peak achievement of this remarkable group. Nite Jewel, a.k.a. Ramona Gonzalez, is an artist from Los Angeles with a penchant for pop and funk who keeps her ear to the ground in the world of lo-fi. Peanut Butter Wolf, or Chris Manak, is a DJ, hip-hop producer, and founder of the cult label Stones Throw Records. How does all of this fit together? We can't wait to find out ourselves.

Fatima Al Qadiri
Born in Senegal, raised in Kuwait, and currently residing in Brooklyn, Fatima Al Qadiri is an artist whose unclassifiable work combines Middle Eastern melodies with sounds sampled from first-person shooters. Her latest EP, titled Desert Strike, caused quite a stir in the avant-garde fringes of the electronic music world, but Fatima, a.k.a. Ayshay, also shocks and inspires audiences in other media. She is also a visual artist (with shows at the MoMA and the Tate Modern), a performer, curator, and journalist: an exceptional individual whose performance is sure to leave an indelible impression.

Drekoty
One of the most original debuts on the Polish music scene in recent years. The band was founded by drummer and pianist Ola Rzepka, known for her work with Alte Zachen, Pogodno, The Complainer, and Pictorial Candy, with Magda Turtaj (vocals, keyboards) and Zosz Chabiera (vocals). They recently released their debut record Persentyna, which has won widespread praise and yet defies all attempts to find an apt description. We're not even going to try – just come and see the show. It's going to be as hysterical as it is lyrical, in a way that only Drekoty can pull off.

Magnificent Muttley
Krzysztof Pozarowski (vocals, bass), Jakub Jusinski (guitar, vocals), and Aleksander Ortowski (drums, vocals) make up a classic power trio that runs its old-school rock sounds on the fuel of youth and enthusiasm. Jaw-crushing riffs may be their strong side, but they can also write, and their eponymous debut – a regular on most of Poland's 2012 year end lists – is full of excellent tracks. Winners of the Jarocin Festival competition and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute's "Border Breaker" prize for the band with the best shot at an international career.

Nathalie And The Loners
Natalia Fiedorczuk is a woman of many talents. She sings in Happy Pills, writes a column for T-Mobile Music, and composes music for plays at the Powszechny Theater in Warsaw – and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Her permanent place is at the helm of the project known as Nathalie And The Loners, whose second album, On Being Sane (In Insane Places), was released in November 2012. This hypnotic, beautiful, and complex record features performances by Maciej Cieslak (Scianka, Lenny Valentino), Jerzy Rogiewicz (Levity), and Karolina Rec (Scianka, Cieslak i Ksi?zniczki). We're very curious to see how Natalia's intimate songs come across on the OFF Festival stage.

Rebeka
You have to be pretty bold to title your debut single "Fail," but this Poznan-based duo has nothing to worry about: their tracks are dancefloor bombshells, and their upcoming album on Brennnessel Records is one of the most anticipated releases on the local alternative dance music scene. If the name of the label sounds familiar, it's because Rebeka's production wing – Bartosz Szczesny – also mans the bass guitar in Kamp!. The face, founder, and voice of the project, however, is Iwona Skwarek. Oh, and one more thing: "Stars" is their better-known single, and the one with the more appropriate title.

Vampire Weekend, White Denim and more added to Bilbao BBK lineup

Bilbao BBK Live festival is proud to announce that Vampire Weekend, White Denim, Jamie N Commons and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have been added to the line-up of the eighth edition of the event; scheduled to take place from the 11th to 13th July in the northern Spanish city of Bilbao.

Vampire Weekend

Promising to perform material from their new album "Modern Vampires of the City", due to be released next month, Vampire Weekend joins the line-up together with Texan experimental outfit White Denim, currently working with Jeff Tweedy in their next album; British blues singer song-writer Jamie N Commons and cultish 11-piece indie rockers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. A total of four new names added to a line-up headlined by Depeche ModeKings of Leon and Green Day.

After last summer's record-breaking attendance, with performances by Radiohead and The Cure and the opening of the third stage, Bilbao BBK Live keeps growing and attracting the biggest names in music today. Previous editions of the event have included headliners such as Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Black Crowes, Jane’s Addiction, RHCP and Suede.

Knife Party added as headliner to SW4 Sunday

The rate of Knife Party’s ascension to the forefront of a burgeoning electronic music movement is unparalleled and the pair have quickly risen to become one of the most exciting DJ and production duos on the planet today. Their music is a heady cocktail of sounds, combining electro, house, dubstep, moombahton and a plethora of other influences from trance synths to old horror movie samples, a style which they have simply coined as ‘seizure music’.

Knife Party made their debut in Ibiza in 2011 following the buzz created by monster track ‘Antidote’, in collaboration with Swedish House Mafia. This year they return to the White Isle with their second residency at Together at Amnesia as the bass heads return to San Rafael once again. Their debut EP ‘100% No Modern Talking’, charted at number 1 on the Beatport sales chart, despite first being given away for free and racking up over 500,000 downloads. The EP included the track ‘Internet Friends’ which consequently sent social networks into a feeding frenzy, ‘Internet Friends’ has since gone onto receive in excess of 15 million views on YouTube. Remixes for Nero and Labrinth soon followed, and in 2012 the EP ‘Rage Valley’ was released and as well as collaborations with Skrillex and Steve Aoki. With the focus now on their greatly anticipated return to SW4, following their storming debut last summer, plus the upcoming release of their ‘Haunted House’ EP, 2013 will see Knife Party raise the game to a whole new level.

Duke Dumont, Mark Knight & many more added to Creamfields lineup

Creamfields have announced a host of fresh new acts to their already incredible line-up for this year’s festival including Duke Dumont, Mark Knight, Chris Lake, Michael Woods, T Williams, Doorly, Stefano Noferini, Just Blaze, Danny Howard, Claptone, Albin Myers, DJ Fusion, DJ Punish, P Money, Scrufizzer, Linguistics, SP:MC, SGT Pokes, Stamina MC and many more.

Fresh off the back of his first number 1 single, we’re pleased to announce that Duke Dumont will not only be kicking the party off on Friday in the Snatch Arena but will be keeping it going on to Saturday when he joins the Annie Mac Presents Arena bill.

If seven arenas and two stages weren’t enough for Saturday we’re pleased to announce that Mark Knight will be bringing his Toolroom Arena imprint to Creamfields for the first time.

Toolroom hits ten this year and to celebrate they’re bringing together some of the biggest house stars of the moment including Rising Music’s Chris Lake and his ‘Black Thong’ collaborating partner Michael Woods plus Doorly, Radio 1’s Danny Howard, and Stefano Noferini.

Another act joining Saturday’s bill is producer Just Blaze, best known for his work with Jay Z and his recently released collaboration with Baauer  ‘Higher’. Just Blaze has been added to the Skream & Benga Presents Arena along with Skream and Magnetic Man’s’s official MC SGT Pokes and 2011’s D&BArena Awards 'Best MC' SP:MC.

Other highlights include Rinse FM’s T.Williams, who is signed to one of the hottest labels of the moment, PMR, home to Julio Bashmore and Jessie Ware. Last year he was named one of Time Out’s ‘DJ Stars of 2012’ and his remix of Javeon McCarthy’s ‘Lost Time’ was made Record of the Week on BBC Radio 1 so we’re expecting nothing but big things for this artist in 2013.

We also welcome Friction’s friends P Money, Scrufizzer and Linguistics, Shy FX’s MC, Stamina MC, upcoming DJ/producer Albin Myers, the enigmatic Claptone who has conquered dancefloors with his track aptly named ‘Cream’, Speakerbox resident DJ Fusion, Dutch house DJ/Producer DJ Punish plus the Cream residents Paul Bleasdale, Anthony ProbynJemmy along with Alan Hartley.

This year Creamfields have pulled together one of their biggest line-ups to date with headline performances from The Prodigy, AVICII, Tiësto, David Guetta, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso,  Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Knife Party, Paul van Dyk, Groove Armada, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Sub Focus, Afrojack, Alesso, Marco Carola, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, NERVO, Solomun, AlunaGeorge, Madeon, Sasha, Julio Bashmore, Maceo Plex, Eats Everything, Baauer, Jackmaster, Redlight and Maya Jane Coles.
