House of Tracks Launches New Website With New Features

House of Tracks today announces a brand new website with many new features including a filter based search engine and a custom upload system, and it is already dealing with an 85% increase in daily track submissions as people turn to music for solace in these unprecedented times. The unique platform is now the largest supplier of royalty free dance music limited to one copy, and is providing vital ways for producers to monetise their work in essential new ways. 

In recent weeks, producers have had more time to make music, and making music is a welcome creative outlet in these difficult times. Well-known names are making more music as well. Unable to perform at festivals and events, they’re discovering that they’re able to generate a good income through House of Tracks.

Because of this, in the last few weeks House of Tracks’s offering has increased 85%. It turns out people do need music after all. What they provide is royalty-free electronic dance music, created by talented producers from all over the world. What began six years ago as a ghost producer platform that mainly served DJs has grown into a worldwide supplier of royalty-free music for various industries. To begin the event, all BCB.FM superstar DJs will share a symbolic handshake. Then as the evening approaches, a moment that no-one around the world could imagine. A spectacular live show, which will include pillars of fire, mind-blowing lasers, CO2 cannons, plenty of pyrotechnics, and of course, the most ambitious and best music event in Europe. While WorldClubbers will have to exercise patience until they can experience Las Vegas Edition 2021 in Frankfurt, the Mannheim Maimarkthallen is set to become one of the biggest dance floors in Germany: 600 “dancing cars”, a total of 1000 party goers, plus hundreds of thousands of people from around the world tuning into the live stream. Agoria is in the middle of a real purple patch that includes his original soundtrack for French comedy Lucky plus brand new EPs including this one on his own Sapiens label. The long time French electronic icon also recently finished his critically acclaimed debut solo art show during Art Basel Miami at Scope, curated by Santiago Guggenheim and shows now signs of slowing down. ‘3 Letters’ is a perfectly emotive pop-dance track with catchy finger clicks and warm, summery chords complete with a pained vocal sample rising out up top. Stereocalypse is an Italian duo that has found great success on labels like Innervisions and they re-work that track into something more suited to the club, with edgy snares and a tense lead synth line that eventually explodes in cosmic fashion to take you on a real trip. Enduring German house specialists andhim then step up with an S Computer Love Mix that flips the track into something futuristic and spaced out, with far-sighted pads and pixelated melodies lighting up the whole track with real colour. DUBROVNIK – World’s 1st Quarantine

World renowned social media brand Mr. Afterparty and BSH Events are looking to take you on a spectacular music journey through historically and culturally rich treasures of the world’s best cityscapes, with their new fundraiser series “Steam City Live”.

The first event launches in Dubrovnik, Croatia, at 5pm BST on Sunday May 24th from the ancient walls of “The Pearl of the Adriatic” and world’s first quarantined city back in 1377, and it will be aired from the Mr. Afterparty pages as well as BSH Events and selected partners.

BSH Events is a production and event management company based in Zagreb, Croatia producing dance events with an out of the box approach to unique venue selections, which have a significant cultural value such as the 13th century Medvedgrad Fortress, Zagreb Airport and Trsat Castle.

The first event comes in association with the City of Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik Tourism Board and Society of Friends of Dubrovnik Walls. The storied and stunning city, part of the UNESCO heritage, is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Europe. Its beautiful landscape has been home to a number of movies and series as seen on “Game of Thrones”, “Star Wars” and “Robin Hood” to name a few.

In 1377 during the Great Plague, which is considered to be the worst pandemic to ever happen, the Republic of Ragusa – Dubrovnik today – started implementing the world’s first quarantine measures in a desperate attempt to contain the disease within city walls. In 1431 the first stone Lazzaretto (a building created to hold quarantined persons) was built on Supetar island, and soon the construction of a larger, fully-equipped lazzaretti followed in order to accommodate the ill and the suspect, so is the perfect location to kick off this series. 

The stream will feature two live DJ sets from two separate locations – the Lazzaretti, as well as the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik while taking you on a cultural journey to the most beautiful spots of the city. Starting with Mathame’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ on Afterlife played by a pianist and a violinist from two different sites, you will be introduced to the DJ sets at sunset as you are shown the two perspectives of the city by day and by night.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated in favour the International Red Cross and local charities in aid of COVID-19 appeals.

Set for Love is the world’s largest simultaneous DJ livestream event. Kicking off from Fri 8th – Sunday 10th May.
the 72 hour marathon will feature thousands of DJs broadcasting across their own channels to raise funds for the COVID-19 Emergency Appeal launched by the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) charity. Beatport Announce ReConnect Drum & Bass, Their First Genre-Specific Stream

Beatport, the world’s leading destination for electronic music, today announced that they will be running a third online music marathon, as part of it’s ReConnect series, and the first genre-specific of the series with a huge Drum & Bass line up on Saturday May 2nd. The line up includes 14 stellar D&B artists including Noisia (DJ Set), Black Sun Empire, Benny L, S.P.Y, Mollie Collins, DJ MARKY and more all playing from 2pm London time/6am PDT, AND will be raising money for the W.H.O Covid Solidarity fund.
The first two ReConnect events have been hugely successful fundraisers, with more than 23 million views and over $300,000 raised for COVID-19 relief efforts.

This special D&B edition features a DJ Set from key players Noisia as well as sets from the hottest names in the game such as Matrix & Futurebound, Bristol’s cult Roni Size, the innovative Black Sun Empire, Brazilian liquid legend DJ MARKY plus Benny L, S.P.Y, and more all playing from isolation.

DanceTelevision Announce Huge Series of #StayHomeFestival Virtual Events

In response to the coronavirus crisis, the DanceTelevision Network’s FREE online initiative, the #StayHomeFestival, aims to urgently support and share the World Health Organization’s call to the world for social distancing. After early events gained worldwide plaudits, a new series of streams including Analog Room, East London Movement, Athens Showcase, Francesca Lombardo presents Upper Hour, ReSolute Stays Home, The Zoo Project, Vatos locos featuring Hector, VQtv by Shaun Reeves and Armigé Agency are now revealed.

DanceTelevision dedicates its entire platform to #StayHomeFestival streaming FREE 24/7 content from renown artists, events, and labels in the scene. Despite being in lockdown, artists can continue to interact with their fans and reach out with positive messages to millions of new viewers around the world, and across a variety of the most popular shared networks online. The project invites artists, events, labels and fans to join in solidarity to raise public awareness and funds in support of the WHO and select NGOs that are critical in helping the music entertainment industry. Up first Detroit techno tastemaker and Visionquest label boss Shaun Reeves will kick off the VQ TV show on Sunday May 3rd at 8pm to 11pm CET on Stay Home festival. The showcase will be revolving around Shaun featuring guests from the Visionquest label and from his close circle.

Divided across 3 nights, May 14, 20 and 28 respectively, Armige Agency is showcasing their roster with contributions from Joeski, Alexi Delano, Animal Trainer, Demuir, Junior Sanchez, Joyce Muniz, Kevin Knapp, Pezzner, Sis and Supernova.

Friday the 15th we welcome the infamous Vatos locos with a surprise lineup with label boss Hector at the helm in a mission to maintain the traditions of a Marathon around the time where they usually get down at the infamous Sunwaves Festival.

On May 16th, Francesca Lombardo’s “Upper Hour” event series cherishes the daytime ‘after party’ vibe and is fundamentally about good music presented in a unique setting, with DJs completely free to explore the full range of their selector skills. Hito and Cesare vs Disorder join curator Lombardo for a three hour showcase.

Electronic Labor Day (ELD) Beirut is a three-day virtual electronic music festival from May 1st to 3rd led by Uberhaus in partnership with top electronic music institutions in Lebanon and alongside the Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafes, Nightclubs and Pastries in Lebanon. The three-day music marathon aims at raising funds for the non-managerial employees of the electronic music venues across Lebanon, who have been affected by COVID and the harsh economic circumstances associated with this pandemic. These livestreams will be immersive, entertaining and exciting, taking place across multiple online rooms.
