Palm Tree Crew, the global live entertainment, lifestyle, and hospitality company founded by Kygo and Myles Shear, announced today its latest venture: Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand, opening in partnership with Tao Group Hospitality, a leader in restaurants, nightlife and entertainment. Palm Tree Beach Club will debut in May 2025 as a tropical oasis with chart-topping performers and top-tier service. 

Designed by Rockwell Group, the award-winning architecture and design firm, the space will be an eclectic, vibrant and chic tropical retreat. Spanning nearly 60,000 square feet, the venue will include a ground-level stage, salt water pool, 12 bungalows and 10 cabanas, along with daybeds and chaise lounges all to fit more than 3,000 guests.

World renowned Scottish techno festival Terminal V returns to Tisno, Croatia, for what will be a standout second edition from July 17th to 21st 2025. Les Plages Électroniques are back for their 18th edition, ready to break records once again. After three sold-out days in 2024 with 60,000 attendees, 90 artists and performers, and countless hours of live music still resonating on the beach of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, the festival is unveiling the first names for its line-up—all set to perform on the festival’s Main Stage.

More than just a Beach Party, Plages Électroniques has established itself as one of the major summer events in France and in Europe across three days. ERIC PRYDZ, famous for the hit Call on Me and his visually stunning performances, brings his uniquely produced electronic music to the festival. 

FRANCIS MERCIER, with over 75 million streams, blends culturally rich and melodic house sounds that have landed him collaborations with major names like Diplo and Major Lazer, French DJ and producer KUNGS rose to global fame with chart-topping hits and international recognition will join forces with PURPLE DISCO MACHINE. 

BOOBA is one of the most influential rappers on the French scene and will take the Cannes sands this summer for his only date in southeastern France. With a career spanning two decades, 10 albums, multiple certified singles, and records including gold, platinum, triple platinum, and diamond, he remains an unparalleled icon in French rap while LUIDJI also brings some first class rap sounds. Yacht Week is the world’s leading floating festival and a unique blend of world class music, seafaring adventure and global travel to stunning destinations in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. It is the ultimate stage for aspiring DJs to showcase their talent alongside legends of the scene and now the next generation gets their chance to shine with the launch of Yacht Week’s Annual DJ Competition.

This year’s competition seeks emerging talent from across the globe to feature in Yacht Week 2025 and perform at the world-famous floating festival. DJs will play to diverse audiences across iconic venues such as secluded beach bars, energetic club nights and Yacht Week’s legendary Circle Raft parties across destinations from the exotics to Croatia, Greece and Sicily. 

For ambitious DJs, Yacht Week offers more than just a set, it’s a career-defining opportunity to play to a global audience of adventurers, partygoers and music lovers. This isn’t just a gig – it’s a chance to cement a reputation alongside some of the industry’s biggest names. Past performers include Adam Beyer, Dom Dolla and Juliet Fox while previous emerging talents have gone from their Yacht Week performances to international acclaim, playing at top festivals like Tomorrowland, Coachella and Creamfields.

Now the festival is searching for talent with an emphasis on house and EDM to play on Yacht Week’s ‘Original’ weeks across Croatia, Greece, Sicily and the BVIs. Three winners will have the opportunity to play over two Yacht Weeks in an eclectic set of venues, from sunset parties at unforgettable beach bars and world-famous clubs to a floating booth in the centre of Yacht Week’s iconic Circle Raft parties.

Yacht Week is pulling out all the stops to give every entrant a global stage throughout the competition process which means shortlisted talent will feature on Yacht Week’s social feeds and Spotify playlists, semi-finalists will be featured on Instagram, regional finals broadcast Live and prominent DJs and past winners will promote the competition and mentor participants, with a public vote to pick the finalists.

The live finals will feature headliners from Yacht Week’s community past and present, with a fast and furious back-to-back mini-mix competition where a winner will be picked from each region.

The competition begins on the 10th December, with submissions open until 28th January so do not miss this epic opportunity and get recording your best set right away.
