Lovefest, Serbia is one of Europe’s most celebrated festivals and this year will be held from 4th till 6th of August under the slogan Refresh. This year’s edition marks 15 years and it will be the biggest in its history with legends of the electronic scene such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Kölsch, Rødhåd, Folamour, Danny Tenaglia,and more than 100 other performers. Five music stages and a spectacular closing on the Fire Stage
This year, in the renowned park of Vrnjacka Banja, DJs will perform on five music stages. On the biggest stage, the globally revered Kollektiv Turmstrasse will play live on the first day of the festival. Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati and WilliamDjoko will all return to Lovefest, alongside a debut for Danny Tenaglia. Joining them are the much-hyped Frenchman Folamour, melodic techno maestro Kölsch, as well as minimal favourites SonjaMoonearand ArchieHamilton. The jubilee edition of Lovefest will also play host to a spectacular ending, comprising a prodigious three-hour back-to-back closing set on the legendary Fire Stage.
For the diggers, the Energy Stage will host Antal, owner of the legendary label and store RushHour, plus Rødhåd, DVS1, Mendel, Rick Wilhite, Paquita Gordon, Esa, Zenker Brothers, Zernel, and Lauren Hansom. In celebration of the 15th anniversary, the last morning will be soundtracked by legend Joe Claussell.

Next to the music, there will be a vibrant mix of contemporary art, colourful leisure activities and adrenaline pumping fairground rides as well as plenty of extra surprises to make the experience all the more unforgettable. Access was born in 2016 when a group of friends set out to reflect the sound of various UK cities in carefully curated club nights. They saw quick success with thoughtful line-ups and immersive production, and as well as selling out every local event for the past three years, they have also made a mark in London and internationally in France and Hong Kong. Last year came the debut festival and it set a new benchmark for the region with standout sets for some of the underground’s finest names.

The Saudi music and culture scene will take another quantum leap forward in 2022 with the confirmation that MDLBEAST’s XP Music Conference (28-30 Nov) and stellar festival, SOUNDSTORM (1-3 Dec), will return in December to once again deliver the LOUDEST WEEK in Riyadh.
Everyone from music industry professionals, creatives seeking inspiration and professionalization, to music-tech start-ups and government entities will come together for workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and nightlife activations to build on the successes of the inaugural year of XP in 2021. Once again, the conference will be the warmup for the biggest music festival ever seen in the Middle East, SOUNDSTORM, delivering three days for festival goers to immerse themselves in the beats of global, regional, and local superstars.

MDLBEAST’s XP Music Conference was held for the first time in 2021 with 150 local/regional/international industry experts discussing Talent, Scene, Policy, and Impact with regional audiences, supporting the growth of the music community. Global artists such as Afrojack and Steve Aoki led the discussion around the path to success, guiding principles for young talent, and what it means to support aspiring DJs, producers, and creators. XP welcomed almost five thousand attendees on three days and hosted up to 52 sessions in its inaugural year.

With over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and having worked with a series of A-list names including ToryLanez, Ty Dolla $ign, and WizKid, Kranium is a much-welcomed headliner of this year’s line-up and will be taking the festival to another level when he takes to the stage. Also being announced as stage partners are the London-based music and broadcasting legends RampageSound, who are famous for their presence at Nottinghill Carnival in which they present their phenomenal static sound system, the largest of its kind in Europe. Globally renowned DJ and producer Joseph Capriati is to play three exclusive parties at Amnesia this summer. Each one comes under his Metamorfosi banner on Fridays July 22nd, August 5th and August 19th and they promise to be an immersive dive into the Italian tastemaker’s unique musical world alongside a carefully curated mix of special guests.

Meanwhile, every week in the Main Room – which for this year is known as The Club – will be Radio 1 tastemaker and underground influencer Danny Howard. An authority on the culture, the sound and the scene, a decade-long tenure at BBC Radio 1 has positioned him as the tastemaker of a generation. He continues to build on his unique legacy as a musical all-rounder by creating and hosting Vodcast series Planet B, with mentionable guests such as Jax Jones, Heidi, TSHA, Franky Wah, Sub Focus and more.
Danny’s transition from underground champion to fully-fledged star of BBC Radio 1 is credit to his unwavering commitment to musical discovery and a pair of the sharpest A&R ears in the business.

MOGA Caparica returns to Portugal’s stunning Costa de Caparica from the 1st to 5th of June and the final line-up has been revealed. This is the long awaited second edition of MOGA Caparica, which made a huge impression with its debut last year. It is a cosy gathering for real music lovers inspired by Atlantic vibes and aimed at connecting people from all over the world. This year it will have main stage music as well as an extra beach party with two in all on Saturday. A festival pass includes access to the beach parties all weekend long as well as free access to the OFF events happening throughout the five days. These go beyond simply music with art, wellness, talks, food and more.
